I can't comment on the game as I didn't watch but the reactions are funny. If we'd have won that game in that style it would be 'great battling victory' or 'sign of a good team playing poorly and winning'.
Robins needs to be screaming at Waghorn to take that. It's cost us which is a real shame. An away point would represent a good start, losing to a team as crap as Barnsley this early is never nice.

Yes I did. We missed chances, and we should have won. But to say the opposition played no part in that is pure fantasy. Their entire game is about disrupting the other team and preventing them from playing their game (high press anyone?). It worked for them today, and on many other days. No I agree we can’t ‘almost get a result’ every week. I just think we will win more than we lose if we play like that. I’m not getting doom and gloom from that game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯no but I don’t go in for this “might have been” stuff- played well but ultimately failed, we only had one shot on target
My order of penalty takers:
1. Waghorn
2. Godden
3. Hamer
4. Walker
5. Gyokeres
I like Gyokeres but he doesn't have the experience or technique for high pressure penalties. He's got attributes that can be worked with but I think we can all agree he lacks in skill and ruthlessness and should NOT be taking last minute penalties.

JCS needs to come in. We need more pace at the back. Hyam needs to give way.
Again we lack creativity in the final third, but the reality is Barnsley do a press on us and just foul the crap out us. It works.
A point was there for the taking but you have to question why Waghorn didn’t take that. He’s a set piece specialist. Wolves goal was conviction.
Anyway, plenty to learn from the game and good to see Ian getting better and better.
