Whats the feeling about using Bassala Sambou in the match day squad instead of MAF?
MAF brings us experience and ability to hold the ball up and not a lot else, all of which tudgay can do just better. So would it be good to give Bas some experience instead of MAF.
It may be good to get him some experience and he may get the odd goal as he looks like he's a talent thats got a huge amount of ability, and natural in front of goal.
Only draw back would be he'd have to miss out on the u18 games as they play on Saturdays too, tho could step up to the u21 squad to develop there when he's been part of the 1st team squad.
Would this hamper his development tho?

I notice that Lee Glover, the U21 coach, says that Sambou did keep getting caught offside last night. Otherwise he says he could have had a hat trick.

Sounds like he's still a raw talent that's gonna develop nicely in time. Exciting prospect.
Would it be rushing him and not really ideal taking him out of the u18's where he's developing. Or may the match day buzz and being around the 1st team develop him better?

I think if the play-offs are gone then we should maybe give him some bench time and let him have a little run out.

Give him a go he definitely offers more than MAF.Wilson was raw Armstrong unproven if you don't give the lad a chance you will never no.

It would have to be only at the expense of MAF now in the squad. Tudgay Henderson and obviously Armstrong all all part of the squad ahead of him currently.
I agree tho when its mathematically impossible we should look at the likes of Harries, Stevenson, Sambou and George Thomas. See what they can offer and how far away they are from the 1st team for 2016/17 season

Would it not be the same as the Armstrong/Newcastle situation? Send him out on loan and see how he progresses

I'd have him on the bench instead of MAF, gives a better option IMO. Can't see it happening though, Mowbray seems to think a lot more of MAF than most on here.

Yeah he'd give you pace what MAF don't but would a 10/15 minute cameo damage his career at this stage of the season as it would mean taking him out of the u18's squad for that day.

By taking him out of the under 18's he would miss out on game time and at which point do you bring him on? if we are chasing a game then TM would be brave to stick yet another youngster on and if its a tight game same applies the only time we could have brought him on recently was when we was 5-o up and 6-0 up..then it may not help him too much because the games already won

Think as long as it was just cameo's it wouldn't do much harm. He seems a pretty confident chap, admittedly I'm basing that solely on his twitter. Seems to be similar in attitude to RCC. Give him 15 mins and see what happens.

Well we do need to look to next season don't we. Henderson won't be here, MAF won't be here, Armstrong won't be here and I am guessing Tudgay probably won't be either.
