Don't get this obsession with contracts.
If a player's out of contract he goes for nothing (I understand about Youth Tribunal compensation)
But a club will surely offer what they think he's worth ( what they can get away with) whether his contract has one or two years to run.
And if he's not prepared to sign a new contract when offered, he's obviously not that bothered about playing for us.

I feel the same insecurity as I feel thinking Burge is number 1Burge must stay at all costs, imagine going into the season with obrien as number 1. We need a new keeper badly.
