Terrible commentary for Houchen’s goal. Somebody saying Bennet should switch to the left wing as he puts the cross in.

Couldn’t work out who the pundit was, someone with a pronounced brummie accent. Spoiled the commentary for the goal and also looked a bit of a fool as Bennett on the right crossed for Houchen to head in.

Went on to show he was a better co-commentator than manager when he took over from Butcher.

I used to love listening to Peter Brackley and Ray Wilkins commentating. Sunday afternoons were spent switching between the Italian game and the division 1/championship game.
“hmmm, we’ve got Milan vs Juventus or Birmingham City vs Grimsby”? Strangely I often opted to see Paul Peschisolido and Clive Mendonca. Not sure what that says about me!
