To be fair, we are without are 3 best playersAround this time last year we lost to Norwich. Have a look at the match and ratings thread and see what people were saying then about players, including Vik and Gus!

Good news is MVE is weeks not monthsWhich is one of my main concerns in as much as none of them are due to return imminently.
It will almost certainly be next year before we have all 3 together on the pitch at the same time.
Good news is MVE is weeks not months
I think they’ll all be back by WBA
that’s the point though, we desperately need all the players that already played for us, as most of the new signings aren’t very good

I was thinking on their part they’ve signed 4 year deals so would be expensive to sack.Their jobs won’t be safe either. King isn’t going to be sentimental like the fans, even now he’s probably having doubts. I’m pretty sure the management would have been responsible for putting the recruitment team together too.
Have edited it for you.Good news is MVE is weeks not months

What?Have edited it for you.
He was carrying an injury at Barnsley wasn't he?Binks was very good last night, but why spend 4 million on Kitching for him to sit on the bench?
HAVEN'T BEEN VERY GOOD SO FAR.What?
I don’t care what some randos on SBT thought. And it was clear last year we had more. People need to stop minimising everything with either “vik was shit at first” or “look at last season”. There’s a qualitative difference here and it’s insulting to pretend there’s not. We’ve seen nothing from this team to hint they have any fight whatsoever. And for the big signings not a hint of football ability.
So 'random on sbt' wrong to bedwet last year, but right to this year?!
As for 'it was clear we had more'.
I know, I was one of the ones saying itat the time!
Clearly there's a difference this season, but there's no difference in the reaction, which is funny despite everything else that's going on.

Yep, in fact in those 2 appearances Allen looks head and shoulders above the rest of the midfielders.Strange, we've looked much better with Allen playing in the last two games. The upgrade type players we've bought haven't performed yet.

Binks has been comfortably the best of the back 3 the last few games. A low bar admittedly. Is that confirmed that MVE is weeks not months? Good news if so.
Regarding Kitching he'll get his chance too. It wasn't long ago we were thinking what is the point in the Binks signing, he's never going to play. Now he's starting and looking good.
Fadz looks in need of a rest to me.

Yes, he wanted to leave and regardless of how the new signings have performed to date, it was a good fee.Everyone still think it was worth the £15m selling Gus?
I'm pinning my hopes on we've been here before with Robins and he's turned it round, he'll do it again. It’s just shit mate. When it comes to players I’m usually the optimist. I was backing Sheaf, Vik, even Baka for a long time. I like Simms. MvE, Lats, Dasilva are all decent. But I’m seriously worried we’ve spent £12-15m on crap or at least not better than what we let go on a free.
Yes, that fee will be what the new recruitment team have to work with next summer.Everyone still think it was worth the £15m selling Gus?
Totally get that point of view ClintI'm pinning my hopes on we've been here before with Robins and he's turned it round, he'll do it again.
It's all I've got.
Live.
Laugh.

First genuine lol since the final whistle. Cheers mate.

Look at this time last year and you will realise that 8 games is never reflective of the final table.Totally get that point of view Clint
but there’s nothing on the pitch that actually gives you hope that’s achievable

Fair commentLook at this time last year and you will realise that 8 games is never reflective of the final table.
We threw away a 2 goal lead at Milwall and then conceded the worst hat trick of all time at Hull.Of course, but I think what most people are suggesting is that despite our poor start last season, you could see we were playing some decent stuff. I can't see that at the moment and neither can a lot of others!
Oh I'm not disputing the results. Just feel as though we were actually creating a decent number of chances and playing some okay stuff. Other than Leicester, haven't seen that so far.We threw away a 2 goal lead at Milwall and then conceded the worst hat trick of all time at Hull.
