Me Too .
From Durham I think which makes him not a Mackem, might be wrong. I like him, he's played well and not out of his depth at this level, I guess we could probably improve on both of them though

My partner is a cardiff fan...look no further if it’s dodgy goalkeepers you want.
That’s right. Her name is Steve Ogrizovic...Your partner's a goalkeeper?

I thought Marosi injury was a massive blow at the time credit where due he's stepped upAmazing to think that some people were ready to write our season off when Marosi picked up his injury and suggested that Wilson would cost us a lot of points. Fair play, he has really stepped up.
After Rotherham's bearded wonder kept out Liam Kelly's own goal of the season contender it would've been cruel to deny Hyam.
Interesting stats here: Championship Goalkeeper Stats | FBref.com
Wilson is 7th in the division for save % and “CS%” whatever that is (@Frostie?), well ahead of Marosi.
However, despite playing over 400 minutes less than Wilson, Marosi had 50% more saves to make (90/59). So clearly playing behind a much more leaky defence.

own goal of the season?
this was the own goal of the 20th century.
Andy Pearce, look away now
is there such a thing as an own goal of the season?
Not hate, but on his few appearances last season he was really, really bad.I’ve never really understood the hate Wilson gets/got
I don’t think anyone actually ‘hates’ him - why is that on here commenting on a player’s ability is seen as hatred?I’ve never really understood the hate Wilson gets/got.
It's the in thing on social media. Either your a follower who worships the ground someone walks on or you hate them. Middle ground has been removed.I don’t think anyone actually ‘hates’ him - why is that on here commenting on a player’s ability is seen as hatred?
I was using modern parlance...ok, why do people perceive Ben Wilson ‘s performances, but not his character/personal attributes, to be below the standard that one would hope for from our goalkeeping custodian, and express this disappointment in such a crude and expletive laden manner?I don’t think anyone actually ‘hates’ him - why is that on here commenting on a player’s ability is seen as hatred?
Yup, I must admit I thought we would drop additional points without Marosi. I think Wilson was judged before he had really been given a go.I thought Marosi injury was a massive blow at the time credit where due he's stepped up

I was one of the people who thought not a chance we would do well before he actually played, will not be making that mistake again, the best no.2 in the Championship if he is still regarded as thatYup, I must admit I thought we would drop additional points without Marosi. Maybe I’m just getting oldI was using modern parlance...ok, why do people perceive Ben Wilson ‘s performances, but not his character/personal attributes, to be below the standard that one would hope for from our goalkeeping custodian, and express this disappointment in such a crude and expletive laden manner?
Better?
Ha! I was probably trying to be ‘cool’ or something.Maybe I’m just getting old
Well the other side of him today was seen despite a brilliant 1st half save followed by a frank Spencer cock up.
Top save, bad misjudgement of bounce( having had 70 plus minutes to watch it bouncing high) bad decision to grab player (it was being cleared, hence no red card)
[/iGrabbng the player he panicked also the bounce of that pitch where has that come from?
He’s been good recently I agree but unfortunately for him (he seems like such a decent bloke) he’s just not good enough to be a Championship number one.
