The club has to sort the balcony situation out though, it looks stupid only half full. And a madcap idea not to sell the CBS banner seats
If we consistently do well or by some miracle get promoted then they will have to maximise seating availability.
The 24 year record is the one to break. I grew up supporting a Premier League/First Division club, it's high time for a bit more of that.As I've pointed out before, no club that has been out of the PL/Div1 longer than us has better attendances.
24 years out of the PL and getting 27k crowds. No one else can boast that
Yea fantastic effort considering the season they are having.Fair play to Derby. Great support.
Yep us older boys remember playing the likes of Arsenal,Man Ure,and Liverpool regularly and would love the youngsters to have a taste of thatThe 24 year record is the one to break. I grew up supporting a Premier League/First Division club, it's high time for a bit more of that.

But what's going on at Burnley? They're in with a chance of Automatic promotion, yet still have a poxy 20k capacity stadium, that's going to seriously hold their revenues back if they go up.
Fair play to Derby. Great support.
But another (potential) 20k extra seats bringing in £500 per season = £10million per year.Because being in the PL means they can rely on TV money and ticket sales aren't an issue
Then you see Bournemouth with 11k!Yea fantastic effort considering the season they are having.

Genuinely premier league clubs dont care much for ticket revenue. Its a drop in the ocean of just being in the league to start withBut another (potential) 20k extra seats bringing in £500 per season = £10million per year.
That's a lot of money for a yo-yo club like Burnley.

It was probably the advertising revenue. I guess the Sunderland game will be over 31k next week? The club has to sort the balcony situation out though, it looks stupid only half full. And a madcap idea not to sell the CBS banner seats
Not if nobody sits in the balcony or they don't take the covers off the seatsIt was probably the advertising revenue. I guess the Sunderland game will be over 31k next week?
You sent me down another rabbit hole… They sold a similar number us. Plus their mayday rates are very good.Meh, they were promoted last season so had good season ticket sales. Their walk up figures are awful
Burnley are annoying as two stands are totally unsuitable for the present day and despite huge Premier league revenue they have done nothing to improve the ground.Yea fantastic effort considering the season they are having.

That’s right. Their attendances as a percentage of population is one of the highest.Burnley isn't a big place, only 75k people so they're never really going to garner the huge support that clubs like us, Forest, Leicester, Villa, etc can get due to being much bigger places.
For me it’s the best league in the world. Looks like loads of others agree13 clubs in the 2nd tier with over 20,000 average attendances. Impressive.

It should be the cheapest hospitality not the most expensive because no one really wants to sit up there at those prices .The real answer would be to move Legends or Club Coventry up there but suspect no one would want to move from blocks B or E which are the best seats in the ground.
Shame because that lounge overlooking the pitch is a superb venue.
