In the old days it was only fools and horses
or eric and ernie
The gavin and Stacey one was pretty good

Yep, it always used to be Eric and Ern and then Fools and Horses. Doctor Who nows seems to be the big BBC one, but while I am a fan of Doctor Who, the Christmas one's always seem over blown and ridiculous and much removed from much of the concept.

It's a shame something hasn't taken on the mantle. I understand Mrs. Brown's Boys is hugely popular with massive viewing figures, but personally I just don't find it funny. Teh only enjoyable bits I can see are in the bits where they are clearly enjoying themselves.

Think the only comedy special I will be seeing this year is Not Going Out.

The 70's, 80's and 90's ones were always good. In-keeping with the festive mood and whatnot. I don't watch much telly now really, and even so, all I'll be missing tomorrow is the Queen's Speech and a Bond film. Neither are near the top of my viewing schedule. ;)

Might stick Only Fools and Horses on in the evening, followed by something truly festive...like angry anal porn.

Try a Scottish show called still game.
It's about a bunch of pensioners it will take you an episode or 2 to get into but well worth a watch.
You can get it on Netflix or you tube

Are you trying to say I'm a pensioner?
