Taking my Son & Daughter to see Orbital live for the first time at at Brighton Racecourse on Friday, by far the best gig I have ever been to (and I've seen some great shit) 100% on the emotional level but It's the best live show from Orbital I've ever seen and to share it with my children, just wow!, many tears shed.
Tina Turner at the NEC with support act Bryan Adams. Special surprise guest at the end of the show David Bowie. Absolutely fantastic night, went on for hours.
Saw AC/DC at Cov Theatre in 78 with Bon Scott, my first ever gig it was awesome!
Any Metallica gig, they are a must see band
Saw Sham 69 earlier this year-brilliant
Gary Numan didn't wanna go but was buzzing for days he was excellent
Ozzy Osbourne's first tour without Sabbath at Cov Theatre-Amazing
And finally, there is no such thing as a bad Black Sabbath gig
Ancient history, been to tons of concerts but these were the best:
Jefferson Airplane and The Doors at Roundhouse, Chalk Farm, London, 1967 (great but far from the stage).
The Who at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield (we were very close to the stage at that one)
Ginger Baker's Air Force at Birmingham Town Hall ('supergroup' that really was super)
Ralph McTell at Birmingham Town Hall (an amazing singer and guitarist, had the entire audience spellbound)
I haven't been to a concert since the early 80's. The last band I saw was Steppenwolf in New York City.

Also saw the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix at Coventry Theatre (no atmosphere there though).
Jefferson Airplane and the incomparable Grace Slick. Would have loved to have been there but I was only 9 in ‘67. Stunningly beautiful woman and great voice and stage presence.
I was there too and found it very average. In their defence I was really tired and not that excited about going as had seen them before and the crowd did seem to be really into it.
I saw Arcade Fire recently at NEC and that was certainly up there for best gig I’ve been to.
