Mine was a left foot sliding volley ball came in from the right and I connected with it on the insidenof my left foot and it arrowed into the far corner

It's a difficult one, I've got 4 on the shortlist but think I will go for one I scored at u15's right footed half volley from just outside the area, the ball was coming in over my left shoulder across me, and I just times it to perfection, top right hand corner the keeper didn't even move.

Throw in on the half way line - to a team mate who passed it back - and I put it straight in a la Beckham

The real truth was there was a force 10 wind blowing, so my cross which was aimed just inside the area - which the keeper came to meet, took off and flew over his head

Cross came from the right. Overhead kick in the penalty box and the ball rocketed in like a high speed missile.

Best goal scored was in an 11-a-side at the Ryton Connextion, where they used to hold footy league tournaments in the summer - it was a half-volley from about 35 yards that looped, dipped (fair play the keeper managed to get a hand on it) and crashed in off the right hand post. Bit like Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's goal for Holland.

Nearly had a Steve Lomas-ish boner after it went it.

When I was stationed in Germany, this stunning beauty, she had the longest legs ever, I'm no Adonis but definitely the best goal I scored. 35 years ago, seems like yesterday.

Straight from the kick off to the second half. 0-0 and my inside forward touched the ball forward I saw their keeper on the edge of their box, I hit it and it went in off the underside of the bar. we ended up winning 2-0 against Mackadown FC. in the Birmingham Junior Cup(I think it was last 16 in the Comp) Got knocked out in the next round by Moor Green 1-0.

mine was a forty yard own goal past the goalie about a foot off the ground never got higher than that a speeding bullet
