Yes but I don’t have the patience to deal with people so I will always work for a companyIf you knew clojure I could get you a fully remote job from anywhere in the world, but fucking no one knows clojure
Silly question: could you set up a UK umbrella company and do contract work through that?
Already upgraded a few weeks ago, my LinkedIn is pretty good but missing most my details as I only just got on itDon't shoot me, but get Linkedin Premium. Update the shit out of all your information and make sure to include your location (ideally where you want to live, but you can also add that you are open to remote work etc).
It worked an absolute dream for me and was how I got to be in Amsterdam full time. Really nice company, good boss etc. It won't happen overnight but it will open your options up a lot. Best of luck!
On the note I have about 8k savings that I have available to me so I am not in a rush to settle for anything I just don’t want to fall out of routine because it’s so hard to adapt back.Don't shoot me, but get Linkedin Premium. Problem is that it creates extra tax complications, can you not find a recruiter in the country you moved too for remote work?I don’t live in the uk anymore though so as soon as I mention that they just blank me
If he’s working as a freelancer then there aren’t any extra tax complications, he can just invoice the company. Often you can undercut larger companies in the UK who charge 3 times the price for poor work.Problem is that it creates extra tax complications, can you not find a recruiter in the country you moved too for remote work?
Unfortunately brexit fucked me, can’t work here without a job offer/sponsorship and they don’t really give them unless you’re like top notch at your line of work, so in the mean time I’m expanding my knowledge and hoping to get a sponsorProblem is that it creates extra tax complications, can you not find a recruiter in the country you moved too for remote work?
Can’t do it here, atleast as far as I’m aware. They just introduced a white card so 1 year working visa for remote workers. If he’s working as a freelancer then there aren’t any extra tax complications, he can just invoice the company. If you have residency, I don’t see why you couldn’t set up yourself up as a business. Can’t do it here, atleast as far as I’m aware. They just introduced a white card so 1 year working visa for remote workers.
