Sometimes when I feel sad, or if I start thinking that football is rubbish, then I head over to YouTube and type in 'Dennis Bergkamp highlights'. And it doesn't take long for me to start feeling better.
There's a compilation of top ten goals of his (or something like that), and I can distinctly remember everybody in the playground trying to copy at least 8 of them. A true genius.
Probably Bergkamp for me. Made everything he did look incredibly easy. I do wonder what Le Tissier would have achieved with stronger players to play alongside though, He practically carried Southampton for over a Decade.
Can't stand Man Utd, but Eric Cantona was the best I've ever seen. Ian Wright comes a close 2nd. I remember him tearing us apart at Highfield Rd. Pre-premier League days has gotta be George Best. (Damn! Another United player!)
