Loved both of them. Give me a period battling series every time. Uhtred’s accent is the only dodgy bit!Started Black Sails this week. Wasn’t sure after the first few episodes; characters weren’t that engaging, production seemed a bit cheap and stories not that deep. However, I stuck with it and I’m now into series 2 and really enjoying it.
Still nothing on The Last Kingdom though, that really is/was the best show I’ve watched in some time.

Haha weirdly I liked the accent!! Reminded me of the accents of the characters in Fortitude, that English/Scandinavian twang!

Was cult watching growing up and to see them all back together after 30 years is amazing.
The piece with Will Smith and ‘Aunt Vivian’ is fantastic.
I’m not selling it overly well but if you watched this growing up it is a must see.

Far-fetched but enjoyable. IMO.Always been far fetched but off the scale this series. I'll see it through to the end but it's nonsense to be honest.
First few seasons are great.find it difficult to find shows both me and the wife like but we started Dexter at the weekend and both really enjoying it so far, only 3 episodes in, I think there's 8 seasons so a fair bit to go.

It's a bonkers but quality show tbf, but as you say, it's hard to sustain that top quality for the whole 8 series.does it start to lose it after that? Hard to sustain quality for 8 series.
