Im saying he’s been here for 4 years sbs scored 14 league goals - including play offs - his record above league 2 is dire
Max played a key role in our L2 play off success once he found his feet stepping up from non-league - do you remember Notts County away? His partnership with McNulty in the final part of the season was brilliant.
Last season was very tricky after a serious injury but Max stepped up again when called up later in the season.
This season he's frequently been leading the line on his own (and not looking at all out of place) - and over the past 4 weeks has been playing with an injury - for the wider good of the team.
Maybe for once - just give him a break.

Now I can't be bothered.
It’s the advent of social media that causes it but since Bigi there hasn’t been a footballer of so little ability indulged as Biamou. Hill was before my time but he’d have lasted 2 minutes under his tenure. In fact in the next 3 decades the outcome would have been the same and no one would have cared.
Well as you have seen that is also not trueYou also it seems never said you didn’t like Jamie Allen
What you call a cult I would suggest is nothing more than a difference of opinion. The cult surrounding him is incredible, it’s just like Thorn all over again.

By your logic it could be argued yourself, Grendel and a couple more are fanatical in your vocal, disproportionately critical opposition of Max.
I actually cringe when Max occasionally takes a heavy touch on a bad St Andrews pitch, knowing the likes Grendel will be opening another pot of Vaseline to lube his finders so he get on here to have a pop.
This.
Calling it a cult is just trying to make the other side of the debate silly. If any side of the debate was to be called a "cult" it would be Biamou's OTT detractors. Having to jump on anything positive about the bloke.
But we're better than that arn't we?
There are so many double standards surrounding him, posters dedicating threads to him and talking about imagined qualities they've given him and then calling out Allen as not being good enough - it's all way over the top and based on sentimentality.
He was a back-up striker in League 1, if we survive this year we really should be looking to move on from him and improving the squad, especially to avoid a siutation like the current one where we are relying on him upfront.
Robins thinking about offering him a new contract is a long way from saying he's going to be a regular in the first team squad.
Can't imagine that, in championship terms, he's on a huge amount and while we certainly need to improve the quality of the first choice XI we also need squad players that can step in and play a few games when needed.
We'd all love to have 4 or 5 top class strikers to choose from but with our budget we'll be doing well to have 2 so will need players who aren't going to be unhappy if they aren't starting every game or being rotated in.
Didn't Robins say Biamou had been helping out training the kids? If he's happy to stick around as a relatively cheap backup while transitioning to a coaching role I don't really have a problem with it. If Robins has him marked down as his first choice striker I'd have a problem with that.
As an attitude about knuckling down, improving yourself and not giving up after serious injury and being written off as surplus to requirements, he's not a bad example. What’s he training the kids to do? Miss from 3 yards

Well, Viveash was at Swindon when they won promotion to the top flight (Colin Calderwood wasn't a bad player to keep the youngster out the team), and played for Reading as they lost the play-off final in this division, so tbf to him he's done alright for himself as a player. Stood out for Walsall at this level too, hence why Reading got him. Imagine him as Walsall's Dabo, in terms of standing outWhat levels did Viveash, Farndon and Tisdale play to?

Jose Mourinho, Andre Villas-Boas..You don't have to be a good player to be a good coach so I'm not sure what your point is.

81 league games
Headed goals - nil
Lol what another stupid arguement.
Pathetic.
How many actual headers do you think all our strikers in the time Biamous been here have actually scored headed goals in the league?
It's probably in single figures in total between...McNulty , Nazon, Jones, Hiwula, JCH, Bakayoko, Bright, Godden, Walker.
God your dumb.
You make a stupid argument time and again.
Our strikers generally hardly score any!!
Some teams depending on style of play like Arsenals strikers score sweet FA. Doesn't mean they are shite.
If we can sign a better 4th choice striker for similar money, let him go.
If we can't, then keep him on.
There’s been posts about wanting him to have your back in the trenches, it’s mind bending stuff.Godden has 4 already. Not scoring a headed goal as a striker is pretty poor even O’Hare has one. He could be let off if he scored goals with his feet but unfortunately they’re a rarity too.
There’s a weird cult that defend Max no matter what it’s strange. Shipley gets nowhere the amount of defence despite getting twice the grief and being twice the player of Max
