Agree to a point but all good scorers require service, look at Lineker for an exampleGood players will make chances for themselves not just rely on others to put it on a plate for them. There is a reason that JJ and Duck are our leading scorers. They are simply much better than McNulty and Biamou.
Looking forward to that contribution for CCFC ...........
I've liked that, but going back to the team - yes we are doing well but I think most people agree that our mostly positive run of results has masked some flaws. The main one being, of course, that only Duck and JJ look like scoring for us. From recent games it seems that teams have decided to concentrate on keeping Jones quiet - so for the rest of the season, we'll be struggling to stay in contention if we can't get goals from other sources and the lack of goals from the other 4/5 strikers on our books is a cause for concern.Playoff spot and 6 points from top not good enough for you in october?

I worry that other thank Jones and Duck, we don't have many effective attacking options at MR's disposal. That's why losing Andreu was such a blow. I personally said we needed another winger in the squad to provide an extra option, but was shouted down as being unrealistic.so if some teams have figured out how to stop jones do you not think robins is capable of getting ccfc to attack a different way? nothing is set in stone, we could be playing very differently in a months time

For giddiness sake the guys a dud , note some of the same people here supporting him were the same creaming their underwear about Stephen Hunt , I called it then at the start and calling it now he is a dud Kevin Kyle wannabe except the man who works as a ferry caterer did score goals in the championship for us , utter non sense on this thread his time will be up soon but like I said earlier a dud , a dead cat bouncing on nothing . Its really weird, everything else is fine. Not spectacular but good enough, but you get the impression he could play all season and not score a goal.His general play is decent enough, holds the ball up well and wins plenty in the air. But sadly his finishing is terrible.

Completely agree. He is wrongly being seen as the scapegoat for last night. He should have scored at least one of his headers, but overall he played quite well was constantly involved. I don't get this lazy nonsense. Both Nazon and McNulty were worse, and Jones was no more effective.I'd stick with him and play 2 running off him. He gets the abuse because he missed to me a couple of simple headers his job is also to score goals.
