Byng is a non entity!Don't forget SISU have an "Entity" making a bid for "Ltd"...........Could it be Byng?
Byng is a non entity!
I wish this sorry episode can be put behind us so that we can concentrate on the important issue, getting out of League 1.
Don't need to worry about that, we'll be out of it this time next year.
Fisher actually said on the Friday night forum that SISU had put in a bid with an entity of their organisation while deliberately not saying it's name!
I admire your confidence, but the only way we're looking likely to get out of his league is by being relegated!
@ RegTheDonk.
Another scenario could be....Byng buys the shares then when things settle down, brings in SISU as a partner
I belive there is a secret tie up between Byng and SISU.
He didn't ... he sent it by train. It will turn up eventually ... or not.
The more things are pushed backwards nearer to the big kick-off the more likely there will be no sillly ground share. Am i correct by saying once a buyer has been identified by Appleton this then goes before a judge. that will be another delay, it frustrates the signing of much needed new players but also muddles up up any plans to play elsewhere.
Why on earth would it "go before a judge"?

To be fair the whole process is a bit of a mystery to many of us.
My understanding of it was whoever successfully bids for Ltd, assuming the golden share is returned there, would own the football club; and that it's then SISUs problem that they have players on contracts etc. But I read this morning that the winning bidder would then have to negotiate with SISU, but I'm not sure why that's the case...

...because he's an Officer of the Court - he has to report back & I think it has to be in public.

Wouldn't sisu own the naming rights as well?
Yes but that is formal approval of the decision. It will not delay the process.
Why on earth would it "go before a judge"?
Find it so strange that the best bid goes missing!!! Then again perhaps not as appleton is a sisu puppet!!! He needs sorting out!!!
It probably will - because the best bid other than a SISU one will be conditional & Holdings have indicated they'd be willing to challenge on various things...including the GS
Mmmm do you really think sisu will not be the preferred bidder? I'd be amazed.
My opinion and if you don't like it TOUGH!!!Who said its the "best bid"?
APPLETON IS AN OFFICER OF THE COURT
