Get in Eisa and Armstrong as replacements. Could be the fastest team in our history.
Certainly won't defend him, or more likely his agent, engineering a move away in this manner but you have to admit it was only a few months ago he was getting booed by some of our fans. No doubt the same ones who will be up in arms about the sale and blaming SISU or Robins. What the fuck are you talking about? Robins stayed loyal to him despite his non-scoring form, as did most of the fanbase (a few comments on social media isn't the end of the world). This is how he repays that faith. It leaves a very very sour taste for me.

What are you suggesting then?
Ah well he was a foul mouthed so-and-so:
Feel a bit better about him going after watching that a few times!
Also note this bit:
Wonder why he chose Hinckley?Young family, lives just up the road from me in Hinckley, fair play to him he fired us up last season. Shame that agents can get in players heads like this because I’m sure all the players still on a buzz from last season but money talks and he has to think of his family short career is football.
Mark Robins said:I can assure them that we have received a more than acceptable bid for Marc and that the money will be invested in the playing squad.
Get used to that as a City fan!My 7 year old is crying his little heart out losing his idol.

It's a mistake selling him ... he was on a 2 year deal .. .we could have had one more year and sold him next year had we not gone up ... I get he wanted to go ... but that's what contracts are for ... would have kept him ... no doubt ... but SISU ... they just don't learn ... shame we could have pushed for L1 promotion ... but whilst I actually do think we will reinvest most/some of this money .. the guy coming in won't be a ready made replacement for McNulty and we lose the momentum ... such a shame .. had a lot of optimism for this season ... still think we will stay in L1 this year ... but promo i doubt will happen now ... shortsightedness again ...
Easy to motorway, Doyle lives in Cadeby so not far away. He brought a new build house. I suppose be back up for sale soon hahaWonder why he chose Hinckley?
Yes, I did Nick to be fair ... but even an agent can't make us sell ... and I appreciate that Robins wasn't forced to sell ... he says that too ... but with a two year deal already in place, I'd have kept him one more year ... then sold if we didn't go up ... no crystal ball here ... so could be wrong, let's hope they get a player equal to the challenge, but by definition had there been a better player than McNulty for the amount they've paid us ... Reading would have bought him and not McNulty ...Have you read what Robins has said? The bit where it was only his agent pushing the deal through.

I hate almost everything about modern day football, from the demise of the sliding tackle to the players and agents who worship at the altar of money. The sooner it all implodes and the game gets back to its roots the better.
