Bielsa did take players who were mid table championship players , improve their game and got them promoted .
Only a compatible situation if we go up really isn't it
Was only GrendelRobins is the best manager since Big John. Unbelievable that people wanted Robins sacked
Was talking more about what he’s done for the club and the city. It’s a turnaround of epic propositions. Could well argue that MR has done the same he’s taken players who were league 2 and league 1 level and has them competing right at the top end of the championship

Now hear me out….
I have a mate who’s a massive Leeds fan and I’ve heard people talking about him getting a statue at Elland Road. At first I didn’t get it… big deal, he got one of the biggest clubs in the country back to the prem. What my mate described to me though was how he has revitalised the club and in the process the city. From top to bottom he turned the Leeds fans from disillusioned with poor attendances to fighting in the big time again.
Now I don’t think it’s any sort of exaggeration to say that we should be thinking about MR in exactly the same way. A few years ago (Northampton days) I had totally fallen out of love with football. I went from ST holder to only just keeping an eye on results. The feeling I have now could not be more different.
MR has revitalised the club and in turn has breathed new life back into the city. We play fantastic football and other clubs round the country are taking notice. Whatever happens from here, this man goes down as a club legend and is up there with Jimmy Hill and John Sillet in my eyes.

No to Storer, leave the space for our champions league winning manager!I'm not a big fan of statues, but I am starting to like the idea of a CCFC-style Mt. Rushmore featuring Hill, Sillett, Curtis and Robins. Not sure if it'd be harsh to leave out Harry Storer

So are we ahead of schedule?Bielsa did take players who were mid table championship players , improve their game and got them promoted .

I think Robins job has been harder to achieveSo are we ahead of schedule?
Because it could be argued half the squad or more in fact are merely high end league one, low end Championship.
Only by Coventry City fans, I would say the evidence suggests otherwise. So are we ahead of schedule?

Bielsa…Really? I honestly don’t see what the media love in is all about. Agree totally with your comments about Robins.Bielsa has managed at the highest levels and is a genuine tactical innovator. He’s on another plane to Robins.
But that shouldn’t detract from the fact that Robins is the perfect match for us at this point. He’s pragmatic, thrifty, and thinks long-term. We’d be screwed without him. The fact that people were demanding he be sacked six months ago is fucking demented.
Let's get Kenny Jacket in. LolWas only Grendel
Poor old G is never gonna live that one down is he!Let's get Kenny Jacket in. Lol
Think it’s lazy that he’s hasn’t taken up the language yet.
Robins English isn't that bad
Squeaky RobinsRobins English isn't that bad
If robins gets us promoted then surely he’ll be the best manager we’ve ever had
Was only Grendel
There were plenty of other posters saying MR had taken us as far as he could, around about February time I think it was. I'd upload a link if I knew how to find these old threads
Were people really saying that, like, not a wind up but seriously?
A couple yes , handful at best but there's was yes
