Big 8 days ahead (1 Viewer)

We have 2 very winnable games in the next 8 days, but at the same time 2 very loseable games

Win them both, and amazingly we will probably find ourselves in the top half of the table, wondering how did that happen
Lose both, and we will be back entrenched in the bottom 4 with some hard games to come

4 points would be a great return (I think we will get 3 or 4)

But if we could kick on from the last 2 games, there really is a big chance in the next 2 games

Could have Rose back and possibly Stokes too, be interesting where Stokes will be played best centre half in the club aswell as left back

what are these games? i thoght it was walsall away in league and then 2 cup games?

if so its only walsall that matters in terms of wins. well priority anyway

ahh the rearranged game

yeah 4pts would be amazing. 3 would be ok though

and for cup games i cant say i care too much right now, qualification should be assured in JPT and whilst we all want a juicy 3rd round tie its the league that matters most

but yeah those 2 league games are huge, think walsall are in form now though. will be a tough derby

They are indeed both winnable- wouldn't have said that a couple of weeks ago.Walsall is always tough, to a point there would be a good result.Chesterfield are struggling, so 3 points from that please

We've won 3 out of the last 4 in the league but so have Walsall and the one they didn't win was a draw not a loss. So that one looks tough but got to think we'll beat chesterfield at home.

what about Chelsea or Arsenal in the 3rd round.

We are all waiting for that so everyone can go again

well to be fair that quarter final vs chelsea is the best day i can remember at ricoh. it showed that the ground can be good for us if we were ever successfull.

My face is still aching from the smugness of not getting a ticket for people asking who usually take the piss out of Coventry City. Wankers.

I'd take a draw away at Walsall and a win at home to chesterfield.

a draw at walsall would be great, they are in form and have to be favourites

if we win? season starts to get very exciting! especially if followed up by 3pts vs chesterfield.

I had a bit of a shock when I got my phone bill that month. £60 on getting through to the ticket offices answer phone message!

It's weird in a sense to be in the bottom four yet we are unbeaten at home for 13 games or whatever it is. Also it's worth pointing out, fine margins and all, even if half of our draws became 1-0 wins, we would probably be in the top 6 wouldn't we?

yup, i think the shortsighted city fans cant see that though. they just see it as SISU AND TM MADE US BOTTOM OF DIVISION 3!!

It was shite. Lots of people there who never go. The round before against Blackburn was better, as was the Middlesbrough home game. Even the Leeds 3-2 at home was good despite the defeat.

I remember the Leeds game, there was 28k in the ground. Atmosphere was class that day.

leeds game was good but also full of fans who never come. it was just all of a suddena big deal once leeds annouced what a big away following they would be bringing

as for chelsea game yup loads of glory fans but that doesnt stop people reminiscing about beating man u 2-0 at old trafford?

the ricoh was packed,it was a sunny day, there was confetti in the air,and we were playing one of the worlds best clubs. a lil sneak into what prem life would be like and i loved every minute of it despite losing.

I get your point about glory fans turning out for 'days out' games but on the point of Atmosphere it makes no difference, there was 28k in the Leeds game over all and 31k at the Chelsea game - it made for a good atmosphere and a taster of what can happen with a successful club.

Big few days ahead indeed, but I'm taking one game at a time. Been let down too many times to get carried away.

Agreed, If the form we had in the first 4 months of last season had continued to now and we'd be either in the Championship or atleast high in league 1 again, attendances would be higher. I Apprieciate everyone has different levels of tolerance on stuff SISU are doing ie selling Ryton and potentially being kicked out of the Ricoh soon etc but on top of us being bottom was the factor I'd say. If we were smashing teams week in week out I would probably still go. I hate SISU and want them out but supporting my team would come first but unfortunately, watching them has been turd in recent years.

Also, carrying on from above, I will say, My support stops once again if they move us out of Coventry because that just isn't acceptable. I can accept moving stadiums if its genuine, I can accept franchise clubs moving and coming along, I can't accept CCFC playing outside of Coventry.

but franchise clubs coming can lead to ccfc going

how can you accept 1 but not the other?
