Sitting watching the West Ham game and he has done really well to keep this team in the top half of the league players like Carlton Cole, Mark Noble (possibly the most pointless footballer in the Prem) and James Collins would struggle in league 1.

If those three played for a league 1 club the said club would win the league at a canter. Each of them played most of their careers in prem, they're not as bad as you make out.

We will never know will we, cause if Thorny ever gets another job in football we all know it will be as England manager.

It was a cracker he wouldn't have got it there if he tried to.

With Noble I just don't get it maybe it is a tv thing but he runs around a lot but doesn't actually create anything, Carlton Cole could partner Shola Ameobi upfront in that dream team they would get at least 5 in the season with Noble's killer passing

But Sam will get the boot there as he doesn't play the West Ham way (whatever that means and i don't think most of their fans know either) and they will find it difficult to get somebody with his know how and ability to get enough results, but good as I hate West Ham

But he's not a creative midfielder. He's someone that breaks up opposition play and chips in with the odd goal once in a blue moon! You can't judge something against criteria for something else.

I don't like Cole to be fair... But he'd bang them in in L1!

We will probably find out next year with Cole as I can't see anybody signing him.

He certainly isn't creative, I guess we all look for different things in a player and to be honest the tv does very little for some players. But I have very little time for any of these defensive midfield types (John Fleck), whatever happened to midfielders that could get up and back. He scores 1 in 10 games but i think he takes the pens. Cole and Ameobi roughly 1 in 6 games.

I think I am probably past it now, I have played in the same side as an ex international player and played against a few players who became pro's but you know best. In no part of it do I say they are shit but I don't mind you putting words in my mouth.

I wasn't referring to your ability to play football but assuming you are like me, an average Joe, you would find that playing up close to them you would see how good they actually are, for fitness, speed of thought, ability etc...In no part have you said they were shit?? So what does 'pointless player in Prem' and 'would struggle in League 1' imply then? No words in mouth mate.

AND, your post was implying Sams done well keeping West Ham in top half basically because you think some of their players are shit. Deary me, your reply to me is outrageous!
