looks like it from the press conference

If at the end of the season the manager thinks I have done well and the fans are happy it comes down to the two clubs to make a decision

Not fussed personally.

With regards to the CM position hope we can get Fleck to sign a new contract ASAP!

Worth a shot if he can get over whatever is obviously causing him problems. Sounds like he's had a shit time and his head's gone. Here's hoping an arm round his shoulder and being back near his friends and family help him regain the sort of form that saw him play for Newcastle.

What a coup that would be and I wouldn't be surprised if a similar move is made for Ben Turner out of contract I believe so no fee involved.

Until this season I would have laughed at that, now I have to agree

Fleck has been poor previously but on fire this season. Goes to show that sometimes it's who you play for (Manager) and the lads you've got round you. Anyone with half a brain can see that what Vincelot does allow Fleck to be creative and run the midfield where as before Fleck was having to try and do it all.

It must be difficult with some of these contract extensions.
The team next season will be different depending whether we are in League 1 or the Championship.

Must be so much more fun for him playing in this team.

As you say, he's got RV alongside him doing all the dirty work and he's got players in front of him all making runs into space opening up options.

Last year there seemed to be times when our forwards were much less mobile than the traffic cones outside the Ricoh.

At the risk of being cynical (Gudjonssen, Mills, Hughes etc) Fleck could only be playing well because he's out of contract...
