It does put our current situation into some perspective. As frustrating/irritating/annoying as it is to see our current leaderless struggles on and off the pitch, this hasn't ruined anyone's life or left anyone horrifically scarred (no light-hearted comments like "yes it has", I'm being serious). Supporting a football team is (meant to be) an enjoyable passtime/hobby; even when it goes wrong, it's still something we chose to do for fun. Some of these people have been seriously abused which is a far more important matter than the fact we're 21st in the league, etc.
Tip of the ice berg in my opinion. There will be hundreds of allegations both in the pro game and amateur. How it all gets dealt with will be interesting jails are full to bursting point now.

You're quite correct ! the sad thing for the victim is , it never leaves them. it's a life sentence for them and those close to them. whilst the perpetrators seem to show no remorse whatsoever. and , usually let off very lightly . allegedly.
