Great news for the City. The Chinese will likely make these iconic cabs for their own market too and maintain their presence here and around the world. Long term this will improve and expand the business.
Another company sold to the Chinese,it just shows how this country is going from a manufacturing hub to become a service industry one,in a few years the ones not in an office will be delivery drivers.
hate to say it but its just a short term fix ..most of the london cabbies are moving to the mercedes vito cab which now meets the turning circle requirement...these cabs are just too dear and not reliable enough

Used to drive a cab in Cov when at uni. Supplemented my income nicely. Would go out on a Friday night about 7pm and would not turn off the engine till about 5am!
