Correct, did some good stuff coming out of defence today, now Grimes is here he's got the license to do it.But they are passes trying to get us forward rather than simple 3 yard passes to another defender , is high risk high reward football always from both him and Liam and thats a good thing .. some defenders absolutely pad their stats with Simple 3 yarders all the time

Still a great defender though who gives everything and puts his body on the line every week, and scores vital goals!
He needs to be told to just play the simple ball to Grimes, and not to try and bring it out of defence, as that's not his strength.

It really looked (to me at least) like he was genuinely relieved that his error hadn't cost us the victory.
You can't knock his effort he always gives 100%, but I think we can do better.
To me he's standing in the way of Bassette's development, I think Norman will go on to be a far better player.
