That sounds good value.No, you have to buy a senior railcard.
That said, you can use the local trains free within the West Midlands, i think up to Wolverhampton. £34.75 for a Wolves to Manchester return.
I live in Manchester and often get trains back and forth from Cov. Going via Warrington tends to be cheaper (a small walk between stations in warrington but nothing mad).I'd say at least £50 for an open ticket. Your best bet is to get two returns a Cov - Stafford / Stafford - Manchester. Then get a return to Bolton. You might be able to get it under £40.
What site is that?this site's much better than Trainline...

It should either go ahead, behind closed doors or not, or the 3 points should be given to us. No way should they be able play a game one week then postpone the next just because they're not ready.
We won't take more than 1000. Real shame as it could have been 3x that.
From Cov to Bolton on Saturday Virgin trains is £50.00 return. Not sure if that is good value ?
The ground is a long way out of town. Believe the local station to the ground is Horwich Parkway.
can they do that? dont think soAnyone suspect there wont be any away fans at all?

£24 a ticket
Aye been thinking that too, considering costs to police a game.Anyone suspect there wont be any away fans at all?
Yeah I live up here as well. Pretty good that, never thought of going via Warrington. The Stafford split means you can stay on one train mind.I live in Manchester and often get trains back and forth from Cov. Just had a quick look;
Cov 9:47 > Horwich Parkway (next to Bolton ground) 12:59
Horwich Parkway 17:46 > Cov 20:24
Is £37 or £33 if you left Cov at 8:47 and came back same time.
Not sure if thats split at Warrington or Trafford.
