What do people do? I'd like something not too crowded with bonfire, fireworks, all the traditional stuff.

Any recommendations?

Ullesthorpe Court Golf Course has a cracking display. About 25minute drive from Cov up the M69/A5.

Bonus is that it's free and has a bar.

The last couple I have been to were a bit boring. Yes, they probably cost a fair whack but only so many times you can see the same thing and be excited.

Never forget the time when I lived in Nuneaton, within pissing distance of Lydgate Court, the 'well-hard' crowd were setting fireworks off in the day and you could almost feel the general sense of: 'these r'shit, carn even see 'em' from them.

Priceless.

Anywhere that has strong mineworking roots. Be sure to be a massive effigy of the Thatch going up in flames I would have thought.
