Well it has to be Thorn it's no contest. One manager got a nothing team promoted at the first attempt and got back in the play-offs 2 years later. The other has the worst managerial record of any manager in Coventry's history and will never manage any club again.

One had a team that scored a few goals the other has a team that plays stylish entertaining football that loses every week.

One is a proper bloke who gives the cheery wave...AT anytime.

Boothroyd had much better players at his disposal with a transfer kitty and much bigger wage budget. He was SISU's last throw of the dice at promotion. Therefore it's hard to compare the 2 fairly.

Give me Andy Thorn's style of play any day - and given the resources Aidy had i'd tip Thorn to do extremely well.
