The Baginton mill will be nice I'm sure , although a taxi ride away from the stadium its in a nice part of the city and quite scenic by the riverthanks I will check it out. Is there any good food places and away pubs?
Compared to the ’river’ you have next to your ground probably call it a streamThe Baginton mill will be nice I'm sure , although a taxi ride away from the stadium its in a nice part of the city and quite scenic by the river
There's a hotel at the ground, problem is there's not a pub near the ground and they won't let you in the casino if they clock you are away fans. The Longford Engine is the designated away pub these days I think.Boro fan here can anyone recommend a decent hotel and some pubs for the game and maybe somewhere for a good breakfast thanks in advance

The Novotel is within walking distance of the ground. Its decent enough from what I hear and should be able to supply you with a few pintsBoro fan here can anyone recommend a decent hotel and some pubs for the game and maybe somewhere for a good breakfast thanks in advance

And not far from The Longford Engine. The Novotel is within walking distance of the ground. Its decent enough from what I hear and should be able to supply you with a few pints
The Anecdote at the ground!?There's a hotel at the ground, problem is there's not a pub near the ground and they won't let you in the casino if they clock you are away fans. The Longford Engine is the designated away pub these days I think.
Public transport to and from the ground is shocking. There's a shuttle bus from the train station but no idea if that's for away supporters as well.
Do they allow away fans in? I have no idea what is open up there if there's not a match on. There's at least one other bar (the Mill) and a restaurant in there. The Anecdote at the ground!?
@Borosniper - the Anecdote - next to the hotel entrance at the CBS is open on non match days.Do they allow away fans in? I have no idea what is open up there if there's not a match on. There's at least one other bar (the Mill) and a restaurant in there.
Aye mate thanks I'm coming via car doesn't seem to have parkingDepends if you’re coming by car or not, but if not, there’s a newish hotel by the station called Hotel Indigo. It’s got a decent bar (bit pricey) and then it’s handy for the hourly train service to Coventry Arena station.
Completed it mateTry the Wheatshefe pub. I'm sure the locals will make you feel welcome.
Thanks fella I will check it out@Borosniper - the Anecdote - next to the hotel entrance at the CBS is open on non match days.
Food is decent. (Honestly not sure about away fans on match days)
You could stay at the CBS, have a few at the Anecdote on the night before. If you aren't wearing colours on match day, you'll definitely be fine.
thanks I will check it out. Is there any good food places and away pubs?
I gathered that mate lolThat's a joke by the way. Stay well clear.
whats CV 1 mate? I saw that the train goes straight from the city centre to the stadium think it was £7.20 return.Probably best is a city centre Premier Inn or the Telegraph hotel with rooftop bar ?
Plenty of good pubs in the centre including a couple of Wetherspoons, breakfast available at these of course guaranteed, bearing in mind the daft 12.30 kick off. Buses run from CV 1 to the ground or an Uber might be quicker if you’re feeling flush.
Hopefully a nice sunny day and back to the City centre after the match.
Aye mate thanks I'm coming via car doesn't seem to have parking
Thanks appreciate itParking at St Finbarrs in Holbrook Lane. Only a fiver. Always see away fans parking there too, so nice and safe. 15 mins from ground.

The Jacobean Hotel on Holyhead Road, or the Village Hotel as Grendel has mentioned are both decent.Boro fan here can anyone recommend a decent hotel and some pubs for the game and maybe somewhere for a good breakfast thanks in advance

It is (shuttle bus) upon production of a match ticket. There's a hotel at the ground, problem is there's not a pub near the ground and they won't let you in the casino if they clock you are away fans. The Longford Engine is the designated away pub these days I think.

nobody tell the SAG, they'll have a fence installed down the middle of the bus.It is (shuttle bus) upon production of a match ticket.
No segregation with seating either.
I don't think they'd go to the trouble of that - They'd sooner hire a mechanic to remove the engine from the bus.nobody tell the SAG, they'll have a fence installed down the middle of the bus.
