So who buys when sisu go?
Can't see it working, the plan is flawed in the logic it believes SISU is going to care where we are playing in 25 years time and about the future of the academy. That's the way I see it, looks like a concerted effort to force them out, let's hope it works.
Whatever the outcome it ain't gonna be pretty.
Think we're likely to find out in the not to distant future. So who buys when sisu go?
I don't recall one being mentioned.
Coventry City stadium plan: Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council confirm talks
Council confirms enquiry has been made by a developer over the siting of a football stadium.
That's it. People can't seem to grasp that SISU have pushed for the club to be self sufficient so they don't have to bother with it. No matter how much pressure is applied to them by screwing over the football club it won't make a single bit of difference. All this damage that people are now purposely inflicting on the club is designed to get SISU to comply to what they want, its falling on deaf ears as SISU's response is basically do what you want we don't give a fuck.
What are peoples honest thoughts the club is worth? How much debt do we have? if the latter out weighs the first, they would have to be a cov fan to even consider buying the club. Other buyers would look at the issue with the council and stay well away, who would want to walk in to this mess!
They are not going to build anything anywhere, you must know that.Wasn't there a site about 5 mins away from the Ricoh that it was confirmed talks had taken place about?
My guess would be a connected party who hold the keys to make the football club a success.

I'm notWhat about his other article from today? Surprised you've not commented on that one.
But If the poison is removed from the chalice !I really hope there is one out there, but currently i cant see anyone taking a sip from this poisoned chalice. Wheres that american bloke when you need him lol.
Perhaps they are trying to distance themselves and differentiate themselves from the actual football club, given wasps and CCC and this Millerchump guy is blaming them.A spokesman for Sisu said: "Any potential ground share at Butts Park, and any continuation of the Club’s academy at the Higgs Centre, are both CCFC challenges."
I.e We don't care, don't bother us again.

It's not me doing the spinning and it's you that's being spun.
But If the poison is removed from the chalice !
We will just cut back on the academy operations thenWhere are they going to find 600,000 from FA grants that helped run the club, why do you think Higgs has been used now. And its not self sufficient didnt they have to invest last year due to the gates not being high enough 3000 fans short per game.

Make no mistake this is a serious attempt to remove them, so you wouldIn words it seems so simple, but the tangle that is our club, Wasps and the council, we would need some serious anti-venom. The only one i could see is us gaining promotion, some nutter with bags of money may take the gamble then.
Is there anyone involved in this that doesn't have their head buried firmly up Wasps' arse?
Serious question, do you want SISU to stay. ?Is there anyone involved in this that doesn't have their head buried firmly up Wasps' arse?

You think peace talks are bad?
Seriously?
The council already have history of moving wasps in secretly behind everybodies back, it would be no surprise if they already had knowledge of someone behind the scenes ready to take over the club. Could also be secret agreements with csf and wasps re deals on usage of the ricoh and higgs centre already in place, who knows what may be in the pipeline with this shady council who sold us out the the idea of a west mids super council without the coventry public having a sayMake no mistake this is a serious attempt to remove them, so you would
have to presume there's already something in the offing.
Do you think it is possible? From my view, Wasps don't want peace, they are clearly killing both the Football and Rugby club, which originated from the city.
I would agree with you if they had been more open with us, and willing to negotiate but from the evidence I have seen, it is Wasps that are causing the problems with the support of the council. They don't want peace talks, they are getting everything they want
I disagree, this is the battle it's going on right now, if it's won we could rise again,That battle is for another day.
The battle right now is to our clubs survival. Which is being threatened by CCC, Wasps and every other scumbag involved.
how do you know? Who's winning and losing? If the council win we could have no club?I disagree, this is the battle it's going on right now, if it's won we could rise again,
If it's lost the slow death lingers on.
And you know this for a fact how?
The guy has just called for peace talks between all parties. I assume you are just assuming that is a lie. It may be, it may not be, but you simply do not know if it is sincere or not, but let's not that get in the way, eh.
At least state things as your opinion instead of posting everything as fact for once. With you it is always 'he is crap,' 'this is this,' 'that is that!' Hardly ever, ever hear you say 'in my opinion.'
Do you know this guy? How do you know for a fact it's just spin? Just an assumption on your part.
If we can have peace talks between all parties we should all be for it surely!

He made this comment weeks ago. Wasps have told us to sling our hook unless as agree to their deal.
His statement means nothing - he has no influence.
Frankly all you seem to care about is staying at the Ricoh. We need to get out fast as have no future there.
Why would they push the city of rugby so hard to then try and get ccfc prospering? The only way will be if it's somebody to play nice with wasps.Been in the back of my mind too. Might all just be fantasy thinking, but part of me still can't believe the council would have just dropped us in it like this and abandoned us and you have to remember, many of the city's councillors are Sky Blues supporters and fans.
Just keep wondering if there is something bigger behind all this and it is a case of trying to force Sisu out before then taking the club forwards and helping us out.
We can keep dreaming can't we!

I thought about Hinckley old ground, though doesn't a team called Leicester Road FC use it now ?
Would you say we haven't? Again IMO we seem to have attempted to get to the table and work with Wasps on many occasions, but they have made their intentions clear. They might not want peace, but that shouldn't stop us from seeking it out.
Yep, get out of there as soon as possible and go ........
Err ........ where?
We play at the Ricoh, it's a stadium in Coventry and has been our home now for 10 years. Why wouldn't I want us to play there with no other feasible option out there?
I think talk of get out of there as fast as we can with nowhere to go is very, very foolish talk indeed.
