Well wasps are getting 13-14k, they are in the schools, they are PR masters. I'm all for backing cov rugby but I don't think its going to pursuade the likes of Italia to ditch wasps and get behind cov rugby.

As I have said all everybody has to do is sit back and watch it happen. There is nothing we can do about it.
Sisu have painted CCFC into a corner and every organisation they have dealt with are just blanking them.
Thats all they need to do. Sisu will get the blame because they have said they don't need them (Even if they didn't mean it )
Wasps will pick up the pieces in a few years, but there will be pieces.

Surely you have acknowledged it isn't all their fault as you have said other people are backing them into the corner. As I have said all everybody has to do is sit back and watch it happen. There is nothing we can do about it.

He will say if sisu had drawn plans then why haven't they shown everyone them as part of their plan.As you seem to know so much Tony, how do you know no plans have been drawn up. I mean factually, not just your opinion.
Well I hope CCC know there is someone in the background ready to pick us up else with what the CCC are doing is nothing short of destruction of a Coventry Sporting InstituteThey can hardly push anything connected with "us" at the moment can they, in our
current form we are an embarrassment to them and the city.
This notion that the council want to kill the club ( although popular on here) I find a
bit ridiculous, why would they want that, it makes no sense.
It's SISU they want rid of, I presume we all want rid of them, but unlike us the council
have had "up close and personal " dealings with them, as have others and NONE of
Them can deal with them.
Before Wasps there was not enough revenue in total between CCFC and ACL to keep them both profitable. In fact only the Olympics, extraordinary income and smart financial reporting made ACL appear profitable - but the truth is the cash flow was almost constantly negative. And that was back when the club paid £1.2m rent per year plus match day expenses (about £10k/match).
One reason - the main reason - ACL couldn't maintain a profitable operation was the £21m mortgage. The interest payments made the difference.
Now that loan is gone - but it has been replaced by an even bigger one. The interest payments way more than the Yorkshire Bank loan. And it's short term.
On the plus side Wasps is now adding revenue, but at the same time CCFC is paying a lot less. Stadium main Sponsorship is devaluated as long as CCFC hasn't committed to stay long term.
So, all in all I guess(!) that ACL/Wasps/CCFC combined are LESS profitable than previously ACL/CCFC were. Take away CCFC and I guess(!) ACL/Wasps are heading directly towards financial meltdown.
All efforts we see in action is to keep the club at the Ricoh.
So in my opinion, the best way to hurt Wasps is to take away their revenue. Demonstrate outside the gates. Contact their sponsors. But even more effective - move CCFC out, even to Northampton.
Worked out well for Wasps. They've been greeted with open arms.Yeah, great idea! That worked so well last time and didn't disenfranchise fans at all.
Why not make it 40 miles away? Even 50!
Ground-sharing again miles and miles away from the city will destroy this club's fanbase and in turn hurt our team really, really significantly.
Would be a terrible move. Disastrous.

Thing is then is that it's somebody of theirs and wasps choice...Well I hope CCC know there is someone in the background ready to pick us up else with what the CCC are doing is nothing short of destruction of a Coventry Sporting Institute

Yeah and lose all our fans.We could make it permanent 80 miles away and say it was there or bust? We could then push their current team out and blame their owners.

Yeah and lose all our fans.
Brilliant! Let's go for it!
Disagree.Far more would support the club this time.
Even a non league ground with temporary stands to tough it out would be better than propping wasps up thanks.
Disagree.
I think we will simply lose a lot more fans and this time for good.
People will not go. I am absolutely certain of it.
We can get new ones can't we?Yeah and lose all our fans.
Brilliant! Let's go for it!
I can be certain that a lot of the outraged people would go to see waspsDisagree.

No. I don't want to 'suck up to Wasps ' as you put it.You'd rather suck up to wasps then?
No. I don't want to 'suck up to Wasps ' as you put it.
I disagree.Well wasps don't want the club at the Ricoh whoever owns it so it's time to wake up
I disagree.
Not going to keep arguing over it. It is pointless. My stance is Wasps are fine having us here as long as it is on their terms.
I do not believe they 'do not want the club at the Ricoh.'
But you say their terms...I disagree.

Don't they?Well wasps don't want the club at the Ricoh whoever owns it so it's time to wake up
What do you know then?Don't they?
Well we know you'd bend over and agree to whatever wasps saySame as everyone else, Nick and people are making assumptions and nowt else. None of us know.
I was asking a question of the person who keeps saying things as fact. What do you know then?
Just checkingI was asking a question of the person who keeps saying things as fact.
They won't that's the point. If we go from Higgs the academy will lose status and funding and at best we will be running a lower grade academy on half the budget.Where are they going to find 600,000 from FA grants that helped run the club, why do you think Higgs has been used now. And its not self sufficient didnt they have to invest last year due to the gates not being high enough 3000 fans short per game.
But everyone that SISU has had a problem with seems to trace back to the same group. On the other hand how many people now have said they've had problems with the council going back before SISU arrived? Richardson, Robinson, Fletcher, Dulieu, Fisher, Labovitch, Sepalla, Anderson, Manhattan Group, Sharpiro even Mark Robbins! And PH4 mysteriously disappeared never to be heard from again right after the CT reported he'd been spotted going into a meeting at the council.OK Dave, let's assume that Kieran is genuine and so is the story he's telling. It still comes down to what I said in my original reply to you. No one wants to deal with SISU, it's time for them to go and the sooner the better. If Kieran's tweets are factually accurate all it's doing is adding to an already long list of people who don't want to do deal with SISU.
The law of averages must mean that SISU are the problem.
I was asking a question of the person who keeps saying things as fact.
That just goes to prove you know nowt, Grendel.Well we know you'd bend over and agree to whatever wasps say
We will just cut back on the academy operations then
CCFC are prepared to get around the table aren't they, everyone else is refusing.Try everything, Nick and just stop keep saying Wasps want to destroy us and nothing will work!
We should be urging everyone to get round the table to thrash things out. Might get us nowhere, but we need to try.
