Yeah racist abuse is pathetic and unforgivable. I'd love to think it was just those weird accounts setup just to be racist to people rather than city fans doing it.Has received lots of racist abuse on tik tok and insta .. so I think it's best the club rally around him .. not take the piss
I did, he looked petrified too! But was a good organism tbfI thought Eccles would miss of I'm honest
The racist abuse is 100% wrong. Doesn’t matter what the colour of his skin is. That’s irrelevant.
What matters is his miss, has cost us going up, our best chance in the last 21 years of returning to the PL, because he simply couldn’t kick a football properly from 12 yards with only the keeper to beat.
I for one, hope we never see him at the CBS again, because my feelings towards him, which have been swaying all season from one of my favourite players, has now gone right the other way to one of my most hated players.
But none of this should be based on the colour of his skin
The racist abuse is clearly absolutely disgusting.
But it's all from bots and trolls abroad, I'm certain there won't be any Cov fans doing it, and probably not even anyone in the UK.
(not saying that makes it OK, just to clarify)
I was more nervous for gyo.Is there honestly anyone who thought that Eccles, Kelly, or Sheaf were going to score their pens?! You’re all total madmen.
Apparently not, fair fucks to Dabo for having some steel between his legs to make the walk unplanned.Fadz should have stepped up for me, he's got a shot in him and probably a calmer head under pressure

Didn’t think he’d score either!I was more nervous for gyo.
If we hadn't planned or practiced pens through the week then it's criminal.Apparently not, fair fucks to Dabo for having some steel between his legs to make the walk unplanned.
Spot on.I honestly think this is shocking
Dabo stepped up to take the penalty - he’s not a penalty taker. He’s clearly struggled with injuries and isn’t the player he was but certainly in league 1 he was a great player and has always served the club well and did his best
I’d imagine he’s feeling devastated now and it will probably live with him for some time.
Someone had to miss and it was him. I assume if the goal against Panzo stood he’d get the same but the penalty makes it more targeted I think
I assume he volunteered when others didn’t. Look at them perhaps
Unbef*ckinglievable! What matters is his miss, has cost us going up, our best chance in the last 21 years of returning to the PL, because he simply couldn’t kick a football properly from 12 yards with only the keeper to beat.

Players miss penalties even big named players take Kane in the world cup. So no blame on Dabo, he was brave to step up to take it compared to others who we thought might have but didn't. If you asked me to pick between Hamer and Gyo to stay this summer, it would be Hamer, offer him a new contract on premiership wages, tell him you are our main man buy a few decent players and I can't see why we would not be challenging again next season, don't forget we also have the best manager in the league. We will rise again together
If we hadn't planned or practiced pens through the week then it's criminal.
I think you need a nap or a snickers today to stop being a little bitch. As I said in a previous post if players didn't miss penalties we wouldn't have shoot outs to decide the outcome of games. On the racist abuse that is totally disgusting and shouldn't be accepted by society. I hope they are found and punished! The racist abuse is 100% wrong. Doesn’t matter what the colour of his skin is. Yep, you could see this when watching it back on the TV this morning. Bidwell was rolling his right short leg up as if he was going to take it and then it cut to Dabo stepping forward.my gripe from the pens was it seemed to me after the 5th pen the players didn’t know who was up next. it seemed Bidwell went to go then Dabo strolled up.
It was sudden death which is the main reasonI don't really feel any better from the 'at least he was brave enough' side of things. A professional football player should want to have an opportunity to take a penalty, and the management should have a prepared hierarchy picked out in the eventuality that a shootout could happen. That should be based on ability.
Of course some of us felt like one or two of the other penalty takers might miss, but there was a much different change in atmosphere when Dabo stepped forward. Judging by the people around me in the stadium and on here, many had little faith he was going to score. It is a totally shit way to go out, and of course he didn't miss on purpose. I feel genuinely sorry for him and hope he can bounce back from it, but looking at the bigger picture, he has been absolutely horrendous for us for a long while now and his goal related stats are shocking. I'm afraid I cannot accept that he was the sixth best penalty taker on the pitch.

Penalty on autocorrect! My phone's offering eccentric options
The order should have been known before the game. Obviously hamer going off changed things but should have plans.
Is that your opinion you've formed this season when your sat in your armchair at home watching?I don't really feel any better from the 'at least he was brave enough' side of things.
