We need to look at recruitment more. Spend more time digging on each and every player to work out if they are right for the club.

I have to believe that unless we find a way to hold onto McGoldrick in January, we're going to have serious problems. I think we'll struggle for goals, and we're making too many mistakes at the back.

I would snap your hands off at 7, draw vs Leyton and lose to Crawley. If we don't beat Scunthorpe and Hartlepool who are below use we may as well give up

Waggott, Fisher and Thorn brought in the wrong players.

They should all bow their heads in shame.

I think the worrying thing is that the gaps are appearing already in the league, we are 2 pts adrift but we are not moving very far even if we string 2 wins together. Which isn't going to happen let's face it!!

its the manner of how we lose last minute, throwng away leads. if we are going to lose be easier to just lose 2-0 goal in each half. my stomach is turning i dont know whether to be angry or cry. I dont know what to do. I no longer have any affinty with players hardly any player i like never mind love.

where do we go from here.

That was tongue in cheek bazza lol. I find the whole situation laughable,i don't even get angry anymore. Take us to league 2 sisu, don't pay the rent, play at the memorial park,i couldn't give a fuck anymore. The players, board and sisu can go fuck themselves. Time for an early night.

This is about my take on it. I just cannot see any end to it. Even my Sky Blue World subscription is shit! I honestly think this is the last game I will even follow the score on. I could not give a shit any more. Last season any slight optimism I had disappeared in the opening game, this season it evaporated after the Wrexham pre-season game.

I'm now past anger and tears.

All you get from me these days is a shrug.

King gets hat trick , gunnarsson gets late winner for Cardiff.

Just think, about sixteen months ago we played our last home game of the season against reading, in front of about 22K fans. The match was meaningless to both labs, it was a great game of entertaining football, we could have won 5-3., but it finished 0-0. We went home happy, excited and optimistic for the next season.

So sisu did what? Screwed up the king contract, let Gunnar go, sold Ben turner etc etc etc.

Reading are now in the prem. we prop up league 1. We more than matched reading that day, the fans were onside. All it needed was a little faith.

Now there are no fans, no hope, no money...........well done Sisu.

Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

Talk of winning 17 games in 32 games is just plain ridiculous. We've only won 2 games now in 14!

I'm feeling rather devoid of any emotions right now. I think I'm becoming rather numb to it all. It doesn't feel like we're going anywhere. It feels like we've taken two steps forward (two wins) just to take a few million back.

I don't know if I can listen to anymore of it which saddens me so much because I love my club but it's just too soul destroying. *sad face*

Sorry, but that's nonsense.
Waggot and Fisher allowed Thorn to build a side and then sacked him! We're worse off now.....the only improvement is that Robins can string a few words together. Brilliant.

Do you want robins sacked? Want old thorny back?

Stupid post- thorn actually had three points from three games......unbeaten in league 1 !!

Time to move on Grendel, thorn wasn't the problem- he may not have been the best, and I quite like robins, but thorn was not the sole reason for the state we are in.

In my opinion.....

Not nonsense.

We brought in 9 players. Nearly all them are now not even in or near the first team (Malaga, Brown, Elliot, Barton all but disappeared).

We brought in the wrong players. The fault of Waggott and Fisher and Thorn.

Absolutely.

How can anyone do any better with no resources and hands tied behind their backs.

The sad thing is that it is almost impossible, now, for the manager to be given any help. At best, he will have to wheel and deal - but there is limited scope due to transfer windows.

The mistake was trusting Thorn to identify players who have turned out to be disappointments-so yes, the blame lies with all three.

The insinuation that Ferguson could do no better than Thorn is best saved for a more light hearted occasion.

Whats annoying me also is we are conceding goals again. I thought we defended well vs Dons/Oldham and Bournemouth but now 6 conceded in last 3

I'm already looking forward to next years rebuilding. More central midfielders who never get beyond the strikers and will score at best 2 goals a season, 'wingers' who have no pace or creativity. Our midfield has been the problem for years and no one has ever come close to addressing it. I think I would prefer to have two sprinters on the wings who have literally never seen a football than have to endure the 'efforts' of the likes of McSheffrey/Baker or Bell/ McIndoe.

I think you are misreading my sentiment, BSB.

I don't doubt that fergie would do better,. .....just how much better, though, is open to debate, assuming that he has the same players and no room to manoeuvre. A manager can organise players, but he can't make them walk on water if they are not capable.

Ah, with you now. A manager of that calibre would be able to attract much better players to the club than your usual lower league manager, even with a small budget simply due to his stature. That coupled with top class managerial skills again lacking in the average manager would probably deliver much better performance. I accept what you're basically saying though-you can't polish a turd.

You can if you put it in the freezer first .

At no point did I say that ferguson could do no better.

We can only work with the manager that we can attract. And that is down to sisu

Grendels comment was that thorn would be doing cartwheels at seven points from eight games. My point was that thorn's record in thi league was actually better, with three from three,,,!!

I wasn't advocating thorn as a success, he clearly was lacking in certain areas. But neither do I believe that thorn is to blame for all of our ills at the moment.

Boing, said zebedee!

Blaming SISU whilst no feasible alternative exists is pretty futile though, isn't it? I'm nearly past caring when it comes to CCFC as it is. Our best chances of a return to the Championship would have been at the first attempt as our funding beyond this season looks especially bleak-and yet with one of the highest wage expenditures in the division we're in the bottom 4.

No - points per game we are better off. No you couldn't make it up that people still can't comprehend elementary mathematics.
