Bastards.Bright loves it at Cov so I doubt St Andrews will make a huge difference especially as the surface will suit his game
The problem is he's been offered over £20k a week by Wolves
Can't really see a way forward unless he signs for them and they loan him to us again with us paying only a small percentage of his wages
Cov girlsWas that a cov one?

Unfortunately yes£20k a week? You sure?
I knew they’d offered a new contract but that’s ridiculous. That’s that then.Unfortunately yes
That’s where I’m at with it. Premiere league Is rotten and it has trickled down to the championship.Football is well and truly fucked. If we went bust I’d be able to walk away from the rest of it so easily.
Would you? They must have dozens of players at the same developmental stage as bright. Will they all be on a similar wage? Maybe I’m being naive but £20k a week for a player who is unlikely to feature anytime soon/anytime at all seems excessive. Do we know How long the contract they’ve offered him is?Would be shocked if he wasn’t offered 20k a week tbh

Look mate, piss off with your thinking. Just say a big number, add a "the games gone" type comment and move on with your life.Didn’t Wolves just trigger a 1 year extension of his current deal. So in theory he is on the same contract as before?

Unless it said as they were the ones choosing to trigger it they have to pay him more?
Addai is on a modest U23 level contract applicable for a player at a League 1 club who hasn't played a single first team matchDoes that mean Addai has got a pay rise too seeing as we’ve triggered his one year extension? No, it just means it’s extended by a year
Well the extension in the clubs favour is in the contract he has already signed, it doesn’t go to the payer to accept or declineAddai is on a modest U23 level contract applicable for a player at a League 1 club who hasn't played a single first team match
Unfortunately Premier League clubs have taken leave of their senses financially and Bright's offer is par for the course in the top division
Not sure if Wolves can hold the player if he declines the extension as I don't know how the contract is structured

Now that would sell a few more season tickets without a doubt worth every penny
Report updates on Bright Enobakhare's future at Wolverhampton WanderersWhat a breath of fresh air this guy has been, hats off to robins & staff bringing this guy in.I for one when we signed him slagged this signing off & I fully put my hands up to getting it wrong & judging a player before I had seen them play.Would love to see us sign him even if it meant selling bayliss to fund it no coincidence the team seem to have clicked once he came in,Signing him must be a top priority pre season depends on other interest & if we can get close to wages he wants.
the longer this goes on, the less chance we have of getting him I feel.
I feel bayliss will be gone soon financing this move tbhI feel it’s probably already too late but would love to get him. Having to pay a fee though probably means no money to spend on anyone else anyway.

110% I always felt bayliss was over rated 600k reported for bright I think it will take closer to 1MPossibly. I know who'd I'd rather have if it was a choice between the two. (Hint: not Bayliss).
We're talking on this thread of £3m for Bayliss and 600k for Bright. Do we really think Bayliss is five times as good as Bright?
We won't sell Bayliss without having the Bright/replacement deal done first
