I wouldn't pay much attention to the social media posts. He almost certainly would've been asked to remove his comments by the club as firstly, it's deceiving to our fanbase if it turns out to be false and secondly, if rumours are true that a contract is to be signed under the condition that we're playing at the Ricoh next season, again he cannot explicitly say he'll see us next season as talks are still ongoing, therefore there's still no guarantees that we're even staying at the Ricoh.
I agree the social media posts don’t really mean anything was just pointing it out. I doubt any of the players would sign under a Ricoh condition as bright has said himself that the players hate the pitch anyway.
True, I'm impartial whether it's a legitimate rumour or not, just speculating. Didn't know Bright had come out and said he hated it! Although it doesn't take a footballer to notice the Ricoh pitch is about as flat as Katie Price's chest so that's hardly surprising.
It was in a CWR interview after the Bradford game. Basically said all the players hate the pitch and moan about it all the time.
frothers? do you mean coventry city fans? How would the frothers feel about us offering some cash/extra rent to get the pitch up to scratch?
Maybe that’s the goalposts that moved?
I agree. Perhaps we can get The Wasps games moved to The Higgs Centre, or even Woodlands? How would the frothers feel about us offering some cash/extra rent to get the pitch up to scratch?

Fine if we have to pay for it once but then if it fucks up again they have to bring it back to standard. How would the frothers feel about us offering some cash/extra rent to get the pitch up to scratch?

If it doesn't effect MR's budget too much, if at all, I'd be more than happy with a new hybrid pitch ( better than what we have)! How would the frothers feel about us offering some cash/extra rent to get the pitch up to scratch?

As to the six million dollar question, will it stand the rigours of a full season of rugby and football, he added: “It should do. As long as it’s maintained. The natural grass might look a bit worn in areas in winter but the green will show through from the synthetic, so aesthetically, it will still look good.”
An exclusive interview about a new pitch. Poor guy.It already was a Hybrid pitch. Andy Turner got an exclusive interview about how great it was and that it would do both football and rugby.
I know Nick, that's why I wrote "(better than what we have)"It already was a Hybrid pitch.

I really can't see a purely grass pitch being able to sustain rugger and footy, unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong if they proceed with grass.
Guess it depends if it's looked after or not.
Do Brizzle have a rugger team playing on it too?I think ours was a cheaper version of the hybrid pitch, as the next level up is the one that Bristol City have at their ground which is incredible. Basically Wasps went for the cheaper option
Do Brizzle have a rugger team playing on it too?
Yeah, the owner bought Bristol rugby moved them to Ashton Gate and runs them together as ‘Bristol Sport’. The pitch is always immaculate.Do Brizzle have a rugger team playing on it too?
Was it not looked after the season just gone?Guess it depends if it's looked after or not.
Only if it was deducted off the rent. We’re already paying rent, it’s not expecting much to have a half decent pitch. Other teams who groundshare don’t have these issues, at least not to the extent we do.How would the frothers feel about us offering some cash/extra rent to get the pitch up to scratch?

State of the arse more like.....Only if it was deducted off the rent. We’re already paying rent, it’s not expecting much to have a half decent pitch. Other teams who groundshare don’t have these issues, at least not to the extent we do.
It’s supposed to be state of the art anyway. Remember when we were all supposed to be thankful to Wasps for sorting it.
And what happens when we pay to sort the pitch and Wasps hire it out for a monster truck show and destroy it?
State of the arse more like.....
I would like to think there's some kinda comeback on the company that laid the Hybrid pitch in the first place eg. Promises of quality, not up to standard, not fit for purpose!
Getting some compensation would appease the Cuckoo Insects and help reduce the cost of rent and pitch renovation, perhaps?
frothers? do you mean coventry city fans?
I'm sure I read somewhere that Wasps were blaming the state of the pitch on some junior groundsman feeding it wrongly.
No just the ones that love their club a lil more perhapsNo I mean frothers who star out letters in the word Wasps. That’s not all CCFC fans.
No just the ones that love their club a lil more perhaps
Tell it to those boycotting because they love the club so much. You have a strange definition of love that requires hatred.
No but a reasonable assumption based on the interview with the company that laid itI’m firmly of the opinion that these pitches are supposed to be maintained using certain ‘specialist’ programmes (and hence the pitch is sold with what is essentially a service plan), whereas I believe Wasps are trying to do it off their own back to save costs and don’t understand what needs doing.
Edit: this opinion is based on absolutely no evidence.
Jointly fund ground staff and consumablesI’d be making any rental payment contingent on the pitch being at a certain level but I guess that’s hard to define (as opposed to “you must do x y and z each week to maintain it”).
Need to get it right, it’s be worth as many points as a good signing if fixed.

I see from his last video on Instagram he is still in Cov
I seem to recall that he has purchased an apartment in the same block as Max Biamou.
