Its a shame really....TV money that has been put into the game has changed it beyond recognition..but we take advantage of it by watching live games all the time now ....back in 1970s there were not that many live games on the TV ....we looked forward to match of the day & soccer sunday to get are fix ( thats being a coventry city supporter in Division 1 ....i have know idea how other supporters of the lower division clubs got to see there team playing on TV ....but back to the FA cup it was always an exciting time to play different teams from other divisions or play one of the glamour teams in Division 1 ..and we always dreamed of a day at Wembley ..so if you wanted to see live football you went up to watch and hopefully win & tune your radio on the tuesday to listern to the live draw
