Bit harsh considering he will have spent all that time working hard to get back to fitness. Not like he's been sat on a beach somewhere, or in front of the tele.
Not sure this reads overly positively...And hope he signs a new contract pretty soon…
Why would they want him?Reckon he leaves in the summer. Almost having your big move then seeing the other two get theirs I bet he’s desperate to go if a Prem team/parachute club. will have him.
Yeah but in terms of output for the “business” we’ve had nothing. Not saying it’s his fault, but a player who takes 18 months of medical expenses then fucks off always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth personally.
I pretty certain one of them will be on the bench, if not starting.Reading Robin's pre match interview I don't think any of the 4 will be involved tomorrow. Bit gutted, as I worry about a midfield 3 of Eccles, Allen & Ayari
Sounds like Sheaf thenI pretty certain one of them will be on the bench, if not starting.
Asked about Sheaf, Robins told CoventryLive: “Ben’s had a bit of a setback early on in the week. It was something different but, again, he’s getting closer again. He’s been out for five weeks now and just had a little bit of a setback but I am hopeful that he’s not too far away, if I am totally honest.”Sounds like Sheaf then
Suspect the fact setback is in inverted commas means it was something which has also been overcome. Think Andy Turner quoted the article as 'Robins keeps people guessing'. Basically sounds like Sheaf is fit to me!Coventry City injury 'setback' on Ben Sheaf ahead of Bristol City
Coventry City injury news from CoventryLive on Ben Sheaf, Liam Kelly, Kasey Palmer and Callum O'Hare as the Sky Blues head to the South West to take on Nigel Pearson's Bristol Citywww.coventrytelegraph.net
Can only be O'Hare then surely?
He has to start for me. For Ayari, and move Allen further forward.Suspect the fact setback is in inverted commas means it was something which has also been overcome. Think Andy Turner quoted the article as 'Robins keeps people guessing'. Basically sounds like Sheaf is fit to me!

I'm assuming the clubs insured against these types of events though? Might be way off the mark.
Why would they want him?
He was a good player pre injury but still had some pretty glaring weaknesses. After a year out injured he would have to put in a spectacular 6 months of football to get a prem move.
Where is everyone drinking tomorrow please, and please don't reply with pub's.

It seems so long since the last game I can hardly remember even the fit playersI'm both excited at the prospect of having all these players back, yet also terrified that some of them will get a recurrence

Unsurprising really. Expect that'll be the same across most games. There will be a pitch inspection tomorrow apparently
It’s getting there on the train that i’m worries about. All the trains from new st to temple meads were cancelled todayWe haven’t had as much rain down here as in Cov, no pitch inspection needed and weather forecast is fine.
No worries guys!!
