If I was joking it would be unfair james. Take a look at our forum if you don't believe me.
While I would love a victory, we don't have a snowball in hells chance the way we are 'playing'. You really should / will win comfortably.
Apologies if you think I'm on a windup.
We need to consolidate and get 3 points so our momentum in the right direction continues. This is that opportunity. Godden has not played many games, so resting is not on the cards. Gykores is fine and adds something we do not otherwise have. he will get his goal. It's the midfield that looks a little jaded, and I think Kelly has to start. O'Hare could genuinely take a rest on the bench, and if not for this game, then when? So Sheaf and Allen with Kelly and Hamer holding, should be more than enough to roll over Bristol. Walker is the unlucky one, and if Godden is not firing after 60 minutes, then Walker must come on. At the back Clarke-Salter seems to have poor games and good games. he offers that left sided avenue with Maateson though. Hyam or Rose, not fussed. Dabo's energy is a must. Appreciate Kane but he's not Dabo, and is not exactly going to take their wing back on is he? He's solid cover and can even replace Maateson on the left side if he has a wobble. Think Faz picks himself at the minute and Moore, one game with some questionable reactions does not make him poor suddenly. He will want to make amends.
Just think we need to be more accurate with our passing, and get rid of those sloppy mistakes once and for all that have been costly. get back to our possession game and get one or two to shoot when in sight of goal. Do what we are good at, and we will be fine. Someone is going to get a thumping and it could be Brizzle!
Even I agreeWalker and Sheaf in.
Millwall are the ones who gone completely under the radarLose Saturday we could drop to 8th just seen Blackpool 6th how did they get there lol
Tbh I’d rather take a result over a performance. What do points make?Yeah I’d go for that team fitness permitting.
Must win game really if we want to pretend we’re going to stay in the top six. Need a performance more than anything though. Quality and energy levels have been way off for weeks.
You looked a decent enough outfit last season, what's happened since?
saved £M's off our wage bill by losing lots of players due to FFP, signed cheap over the hill journeymen, no pattern of play apart from hump it at Chris Martin, who is clearly shattered, no pace, no cohesion, no skill, no intricate passing, unless it's to the opposition, Pearson doesn't have a clue what to do to change it apart from sit in the stand during games, no heart, no battle and we can't really defend.
That do you?
Indeed, I would be amazed if we take anything away from your place, genuinely amazed. You’re so vehement about your team’s lack of any chance at all that I’ve actually been wondering whether you’re on the wind up
it's a break after this game so all of the tired players can get a two week gap to recharge before the run-up to Christmas.
I think it's come at just the right time for us, as we looked a bit leggy last night
That's why I don't get the rest C O'H for this, unless he is completely shattered, as there is an international break straight after. If he is being dropped for current form, then I assume Allen will start. Will be disappointed if we don't win on Saturday, but Bristol are not Swansea City (in terms of style of play) so we ought to have a lot more control of the game.
I agree with you. When O’Hare fluffed his chance on Tuesday you could see he couldn’t just let it go. The good thing is he is not a lazy player and he doesn’t hide. For me it’s mental rest not physical. His lack of goals is clearly getting to him and he needs the pressure taking off a bit. Obviously I don’t know his psychology like Robins would but he just needs to find a way to reset mentally and it’ll come i think. Robins says he’s good at finishing in training
Remember his first couple of games for us? Looked ice cool in front of goal. For me it’s mental rest not physical. Not allowed to mention poor form because we’re 4th, sorry!Last 5 games we are 17th in the form table.
And in that time we havent played a single top half team (Swansea were bottom half before beating us).
We definitely need to stop the rot.

Coincides of course with Gyokeres’ dry spell. The success of this season depends on whether he’s the real deal or a flash in the pan.
