Not being given much of a chance to progress either on match days, not saying he is the answer after 1 goal but Waghorn and Walker are not being used that much either
He really should have been loaned out - as I said before in the long term not doing so will be detrimental on his development. If you’ve seen him in the 21s this season you wouldn’t want him on the pitch. Impact on the wane and yet to score. Should be out on loan
Yeah, Allen's passing was poor last night but his strength is what he provides off the ball. If someone is caught out of position, it is often Allen that is busting a gut to cover. His stamina is phenomenal. Without his or O'Hare's energy we would struggle more so.Yeah he kept a clean sheet, but at least a couple of set pieces he was completely caught out and his distribution throughout was pretty bad.
Thought we were largely solid, created some good chances and restricted the amount of decent Bristol chances, despite them pushing hard.
Allen comes in for some stick (albeit often deservedly) and his lack of quality was apparent a few times last night, but I actually prefer him playing that deeper role because of his energy and able to constantly press the opposition and think he did a decent job last night.
But the only one with real pace.Tavares is 5th choice striker at the moment.

Why do I get the feeling we’ve met before?Godden’s goals have also dried up and Tavares is almost certainly a better finisher than Palmer. Gyokeres’ finishing is also erratic so it wouldn’t be wrong to suggest Tavares is the best finisher at the club.

Fuck me that's ridiculously harsh. The lad has already shown he can have an impact. But very little else

Which is more than Waghorn and Walker have shown.

So more of an impact than Waghorn then! The only games I can remember where he's had an impact is Preston at home (lol) and Norwich away (when he needlessly gave the ball away and Norwich ran off to score their third).

You don't have to win the ball to be effective. His work-rate and closing means the opposition have less time on the ball and are less progressive. How often does he win the ball though? He makes half as many successful tackles per 90 as Sheaf, Hamer and even Palmer

When Robin's throws on Waghorn or Walker it is more in hope than anything else, i hope they play well, i hope they assist, i hope they score.
Yeah, most of the time is 80 mins plus, and the dynamics of the game have gone and the game is stretched. He needs to give them more time on the pitch to have an impact. Coming on around the hour mark is ideal but no later than 70 minutes to be honest.
