Are we still waiting for them to drop like a stone? Maybe not even make the top 6?

Just wondering.

6 points clear of 3rd place.

It's them and Wigan for sure. In fact I think the top 6 now will be the top 6. Gillingham will miss out, they are on a run as bad as ours was.

Walsall have a game in hand so its not over yet, that said think they will just manage to scrape over the line now. They've got steadily worse as the season has progressed under Clough, rather than the drop like a stone like we did. If Hasselbaink had left 4 weeks earlier I think they would be looking at the play offs right now.

Yep, he left them in a very good place.

Guessing they will now stick with Clough, but next season they will surely be odds on to come back down again and I don't think he will last long there to be honest if they end up stuck in the bottom 3.

I seem to remember Grendel getting a lot of abuse for claiming that Wigan would win the league.

It is the likes of those who asked if they can show off about all the money they were going to win when we got promoted. No doubt there will be some excuse as to why they ended up making a profit.

Burton have done well as they have pushed on a bit under each manager since Clough, Rowett was doing a good job and Jimmy moved it on a bit and Clough has got lucky at the end.
