Meanwhile the media cream themselves into a frenzy over those two vile corporate specimens 10 miles or so away from Bolton / Bury.

Exactly.
Aguero's monthly wage could probably pay the whole club's wage for a year.
What are you on about? Is that supposed to be funny?
Have an Arsenal supporting mate out here who was moaning about the UEFA final ticket allocations and also on social media calling out grave concerns around the selection and allocation process. Told him it was the football equivalent of #firstworldproblems. He's probably right but it must be about 1756th in the priority list of things that need to be fixed with football.Meanwhile the media cream themselves into a frenzy over those two vile corporate specimens 10 miles or so away from Bolton / Bury.

That sends shivers down my spine every time.

Basically Man City donated some goalposts to Acc Stanley at a cost of £1,000 and social media had a meltdown about it.

Why are Man City getting slagged here?
Run your club properly. Cut your cloth accordingly. FFS. Rochdale down the road is a perfect example of how a lower League club should be run.

The same Manchester city who were gifted the City of Manchester Stadium and 1 players wages for a couple of months would be the annual turnover of BuryTo be fair to Man City they haven’t ever took a penny in rent from them and have only ever asked for them to keep the place in a useable state. That hasn’t happened.
They were virtue signalling about paying Bolton some money for a player last month. Vile clubTo be fair to Man City they haven’t ever took a penny in rent from them and have only ever asked for them to keep the place in a useable state. That hasn’t happened.

Yet we wouldn’t mind it if some mad billionaire took us over.It isn't Man City being slagged it is the system that creates the Man Citys of this world.

Man City can’t be expected to pay for every lower league club
To be fair, they were getting the training ground for free weren't they? They just didn't look after it.1. I think Man City, like Chelsea, have lost any semblance of soul. So I would mind if a mad billionaire took over, I find the concept of football club's being a vanity project abhorrent. I'd rather we became as successful as we could through doing things the right way (not necessarily the SISU way but producing our own talent and running the club on a sustainable basis)
2. I haven't said they can be, but Bury were using a training ground for which Man City have no use. It wouldn't have been too much to ask for City to continue to let them use it as a favour and in a show of solidarity to lower league clubs, they didn't.

Oh I thought they got it free as long as they maintained it.No, it was a commercial arragement - Bury paid rent. Man City are going to leave it empty or sell it completely though I assume, they've got a massive complex. Sorry it just exposes the two tier game in this country,
No i don't think so, i think it was a relatively low rent though say a grand a week or lessOh I thought they got it free as long as they maintained it.

What is the right way? A club like us couldn’t do it “the right way”1. I think Man City, like Chelsea, have lost any semblance of soul.
