That Bradford game where he decided to keep the ball in in a danger area when we were holding on :( straight to their player.

An absolute horse shit player! Good riddance. Still can't believe the miss against Swindon at the Ricoh last season:jerkit:.

He's better than the twat from Newcastle so I do not know why
He's a twat why? You can an opinion on a player without being a knob surely?
Bigi always impressed me more than bigi when at the club. And Thomas isn't anywhere near the same level as vincelot, he can barely make a tackle.

Bar one of two I'd get shot of he lot of them.

Mowbray keeps going on about long term planning and yet every fuckers either out of contract or the few on contracts are not up to even league one standard..
We need to send all the loans back, especially Bigi who I will offer to take back myself.
Mowbray if you read this "GET A FUCKING EXPERIENCED GOALIE" first thing you do in the summer, then sort out contracts for Stokes , get rid of Ricketts as he's over the hill. You can sort out the the centre backs from the ones we've tried including using Willis as a CB. Keep Vince ,Fleck will go for pastures new, and send the rest back and bring in newbies.
There sorted then actually start planning for more than one season with this squad.

I think Mowbray has wasted a year through lack of planning, everything he keeps going on about regarding planning doesn't ring true for me.

Can next season we start shit then have a storming post Xmas, after all the years of us imploding in January I just want a new feeling next season .

He gets a far worse press than he deserves......that being said if he is high earner....he should go we could use the budget better
.....but that is no different to using the budget better and saying bye bye Reda which some seem desperate not to do on here
the hypocracy is staggering at times!!

I'd welcome both of them leaving :D

Don't get the Thomas hate to be honest. Positionally he's sound and covers well for others who might get caught up the pitch etc, his passing and tackling are ok and he offers a bit of height in the middle. Not saying he's a brilliant central midfielder or the best we've ever had, but he doesn't deserve some of the ridiculous comments he gets on here.

Probably hasn't kicked on as he'd have liked to after the 13/14 season when I thought he did well alongside Fleck in an inexperienced side, and probably won't get a new contract. If he does then he's a good squad player, if he doesn't then all the best and hope he forges a decent career for himself.

Would you offer him a new deal Dimi? You may be right but that doesn't add up to a new contract for me.

Reda is good when fit. CT is forgettable when fit. Sums it up really.

No I probably wouldn't, my point was I don't think he deserves some of the hate and negativity he gets from some people on here - he's nowhere near as bad as some people make out.

I think we could find better players to fit the budget, if he is one of the highest earners as stated.

Do people think Andy rose is any better? I know he has been deployed out wide but it seems to me that he's a similar type of player to Conor and will probably be his replacement. Personally I'd love Thomas to be given another chance and for it to work out but maybe it's time for him to move on.

Rose has looked much much better in his cameo appearances this season. Done more than CT has in all his CCFC career, and did more in one game than coming off the bench and being deployed on the right wing than the person he replaced did all game (apologies I forget who he replaced)

Absolute superb performance at Vale away, broke the play up tremendously well when he got into the centre of the pitch and was absolute everywhere.

There should be no crossroads, no options just a single route out of the club, Jordan Clarke hasn't been missed, nor Jeffers early promise but like CY havbe had opportunities but failed to impress.

He is, however, a far better player than Bigiaramana

Yes G, we get that point. On 3 posts on a CT thread, you've stated that you think Bigi is sh*t. Did he poo on your doorstep or something (expecting a reply along the lines of 'he missed').

We know that you hate Bigi...you've made that clear. You also mentioned a game where CT was great...one game out of how many season? Another who has had injury problems and being on an apparent high wage, it's a no brainer.

Thanks for your time Conor...good luck wherever you go but we need to spend the money elsewhere...

Grendel, I'm not one of these people who jumps on you at every opportunity just because it's you posting and actually think you have some very valid points about the Wasps/SISU/Council debacle at times.

However, I find your opinion on Bigirimana to be harsh and to claim Thomas as being better even more baffling.

Bigirimana looked lost and like he had forgotten how to play football in his first few appearances in his second spell here. However, I can't be the only one who thinks he has improved since those early days where he rightfully couldn't make the squad as the 6th loanee? I've yet to see signs of Thomas' improvement even with prolonged periods in the side. If it is a straight choice between the two, it's Bigirimana over Thomas every day of the week. Of course he has aspects of his game he needs to work on though. Unsurprising.

Calling a player a "nob" or "twat" is all a bit crass as well. (A) these are adjectives discerning a persons character, what have these got to do with a players ability? (B) Bigi's personality is surely anything but deserving of "nob" or "twat". Very harsh.

My view on Thomas is that he could do a reasonable job as a back up midfielder in a squad in league one. My definition such players are at best mildly competent. Thomas is generally error free and has reasonable energy. He offers nothing great but as an occasional player who else is out there?

I don't see any improvement at all in bigiamarana and the only reason anyone does really is past association. I see little in his game and he's too slow to command a midfield place. Also he's error prone and easy to stop as we found out at Peterborough.

The crass statements are someone deliberate as such adjectives are randomly chucked at players like Fortune, Thomas etc. they only get picked up when used on players who seem to have a protected status - then you accused of personal hate - on a thread where far more abuse is chucked at others that's strangely acceptable.

I'd have Bigi over CT, saw CT at Tranmere away in 2014 and he played the whole game and was the worst passing display I have ever seen Thomas started well but deteriorated quickly. They have so much in common, about a wek apart in birth dates both established themselves in the squad in the relegation season, both joined big clubs, both only scored 1 goal. Both seemed to have gone backwards

Still confident Bigi has a contribution CT hardly involved in the last 2 seasons.
