I'm sure they do want a better deal, we pay very little and they are still making losses !FL can't insist that we have priority over Wasps.
They could presumably prevent us from playing at the Ricoh if a satisfactory arrangement couldn't be reached, but they will surely expect the two clubs to come to an agreement.
As we don't have any arrangement at the Ricoh going forward it would have to be part of the discussions.
Seems to me that Wasps are putting up obstacles which can be removed in exchange for a better deal (for Wasps)
Why so jealous, can't blame a bloke for making a few quid !Kerching!
I thought we were assured that there would be zero effect on the football club?
Last season Wasps had 19 games at the Ricoh
We had 14 Saturday home games
There are 39 Saturdays from August to April
Plenty of Saturdays for both teams to be comfortably accommodated.
Nothing at all about him making money. There'll still be same number of home games whether Saturday's or Sundays. Why so jealous, can't blame a bloke for making a few quid !
No it means any games will move to a Sunday or Friday.

Is there a reason we can't play alternative Saturdays?
The fixtures are independent. Any that are the same we will have to change. The two bodies won't sort it out.
If it's not an issue why is Eastwood asking for a change at all?
I presume he is asking because as it currently stands Wasps have to play in Sundays and it is better for Wasps if they play on Saturdays. If it gets agreed. Then what we do isn't his problem and we would need to ask the FL to arrange our fixtures so we don't clash with Wasps?
So wouldn't it just come down to us to put our case forward to the FL about our fixtures. Hopefully if SISU still have the relationship they had with the FL they would be help out.
Lol the fixtures for ours come out before theirs they are officially published and can't be changed.

Behind the scenes at the EFL: Fixtures Q&A with Competitions Manager Paul Snellgrove
Clubs have the opportunity to submit date requests. They all have local events taking place to take into consideration – music festivals, race meetings, rugby matches, international fixtures, political party conferences – and we try to avoid all of those.
Don't a lot of our home games go on at the same time as CRFC games at the Butts ?So if this can't work at the Ricoh for all the reasons Grendull has made up presumably it won't work at the BPA for the same made up reasons? Where are we going to be able to play then?
The fixtures body takes all sorts of issues into account, like Party Conferences, events like the Nottingham Goose Fair and Shrewsbury Flower Show.
The draft schedule is tweaked and sent out to all clubs in March, with a form asking them to respond with any specific requests.
Caught lying again G.

I remember going to the midweek game and most of the car park was also closed because of a massive big top style marquee.
Thats an acceptable solution and too easy to work. You have to factor in every single "what-if" to find a reason not to do this. People at the top need to make things complicated. Gives them a reason to justify change.Quite obvious isn't it.
It would work out better for us if we could play alternate weeks. No more them chewing the pitch up on a Friday and us playing on it the next day.
If their fixture list comes out first the FL should be able to sort something out. If ours is out first then their sporting body should sort something out....or carry on as we do now.

No mates of mine, never been to a rugby match, rugby is boring, how many rugby matches you been too, you already admitted being on Wasps mailing list for free tickets, that must be because you go to see them or send your clients there, just as bad.Lying? How's that? I said fixtures are moved due to exceptional circumstances? I'm sure it's fine and dandy that they've applied for primacy to people like you and Tony (notice he liked your post) who wouldn't know what day of the week we are playing?
I guess daring to criticise your mates at wasps has bought you out on Sunday
it's OK, this hedge fund gets a pass for lying to us, it's only the other one we're supposed to get angry about.
