Writing this in the vain hope that our so called manager has already been sacked.
I'm not one for calling for a mangers head so early but I honestly can't think about a future of CCFC with him at the helm.
I travelled to the game last night and read in disbelief at the team Slade had picked for that game.
It was obvious what formation Bury were going to use-3-5-2 and we set up with 4 centre backs (admittedly Willis started as a right back) A defender in midfield & 4 strikers.
From the start Turnbull looked as uncomfortable as a man wearing tin foil pants. He was caught out of position several times and left for dead 3 times by their winger.
Now I don't blame Turnbull for this-I blame Slade.
In the after match press conference he talked about players giving 100% for the whole 90 mins but you can't blame the players if 7 out of 11 are being played in the wrong positions !
Slade needs the balls to not play loans that are no better than what we already have. Is Vernan better than G or K Thomas, is Reilly better than Stephenson,is Rawson better than Willis-the answer to all those questions is a resounding NO! So why stunt our own players development and our team development (must be terrible for moral when you know players who are clearly no better than you are getting a game in front of you).
The Slade experiment had not worked-he has clearly lost the plot, poor team selection, terrible tactical errors and woeful substitutions.

It's time to call time on the whole lot - Slade, Venus, Fisher & SISU!
I think Slade should go, but who the frig is going to want to manage this rotten club - no one of any credibility what so ever. Hence why were left scraping the barrel with Slade in the first place.
Impossible to build and invest, when all SISU do is sell off and destroy the club and it's rep.
absolute nonsense! No one thinks for a minute that the underlying issues at the club aren't down to sisu.
However, even given the tools he's had to work with slade has failed miserably.
