Aren’t they financially in the shitWould be very happy with Thomas-Asante, raw pace, suprising WBA would let him go, they're a bit short in the striker department aren't they?
They've had a takeover, think they've got to be careful in relation to FFP but can't see them selling to us nor us paying the fee for him. It's record transfer levels surely.Aren’t they financially in the shit
Yeah you’d expect a minimum of 3/4 millionThey've had a takeover, think they've got to be careful in relation to FFP but can't see them selling to us nor us paying the fee for him. It's record transfer levels surely.
He said he’s championship provenThink the chap at Darmstadt might be it based on the random friendly out there.
He's pretty much their only strikerId be surprised if it was. Thought he was WBA's best striker.
Was in and out of their starting line ups, sometimes started Jed Wallace down the middle instead, goal record isn’t brilliant. Wouldn’t be unrealistic. They've had a takeover, think they've got to be careful in relation to FFP but can't see them selling to us nor us paying the fee for him. It's record transfer levels surely.
Sure his name was already chalked offThink the chap at Darmstadt might be it based on the random friendly out there.
Come on, Brandon Thomas-Asante?It's not him. I think our business so far has been very good, but judging by the response by some on here / X to them, I think a lot will feel underwhelmed. Not myself though, I stick with the feeling of intent, good business in my eyes. Proven at championship level, much more to come from him.
I hope not.BTA would be an insane signing but I can’t see it happening. Would love to be proven wrong but I feel like there’s a higher chance we sign Josh Maja from WBA
I can't see it happening, only way it does IK can see is as you said it happens quick and it is far too good to turn down
if true folk had better get used to that "sexy football" chant from last season
I personally think it would be a great investment. They are short, but as another poster pointed out, he wasn't always given the chance, which Is why after hearing we were in talks with him, it left me thinking we must be changing shape with the idea of integrating him. Also gives us great strength in depth, which is what we've seriously being lacking in recent pushes.Would be very happy with Thomas-Asante, raw pace, suprising WBA would let him go, they're a bit short in the striker department aren't they?

It's been a long time in talks, they weren't interested in selling in January due to the league position (imo), and I am aware they've since had a takeover, but if the player wants a change, and he's not in their plans, there's no reason for it to have fallen through. It seems now others on here have heard similar whispers, so something must be happening.

Don't they know he was here last night agreeing terms with cov?Just got in...not seen if this has been posted yet ..
Sheffield Utd enquiring about everyone and doing nothing.Just got in...not seen if this has been posted yet ..
When I was told, it was a week after he'd been sent off in a match (forgive me I don't know without looking), so its been a long time. We last spoke about him in particular about 3 weeks ago and nothing had changed. He had however received his first call up to the international squad. Both him and our manager have been out of the country this past week. Perhaps now, things could move along. And how far along is it?
