Callum Wilson - I'd love to play for the Sky Blues again (1 Viewer)

“I don’t really see a lot of Coventry people and I’ve not really been back that much so you don’t really know what people make of you when you’ve left.

“It was tough because I would have always liked to have played for Coventry in the higher divisions. When the club were in the Championship it would have been great to have been playing then.

“But when you’re playing in League One, ultimately you want to keep progressing and the only way for me to that was to leave unfortunately.

“Hopefully one day I can be putting on a Coventry shirt again. I’d love to see Coventry in the top flight and one day I’d like to play for them again.”

Get him on loan, once he has recovered from his injury if Armstrong goes....

Think Bournemouth will want to keep him next year when they get relegated, cant see them staying up with Wilson, Gradel and mings being out all season.

He wants to come back one day?

One day is all we could afford him for.

You don't think that's he's done enough to be snapped up by a Premiership side if the Cherries are relegated?

The thing with Wilson is, he was on fire before he got injured, but in fairness he hasn't played that many Premier League games. I think if you were a team moving up to the Premiership you would take the risk, but i dont think to many Premier league teams would, look at Charlie Austin.

Is he due to come back before the end of the season? If he does and shows decent form, if not would a Prem side take the risk. If he's sold to a Prem side I'd think the fee would be a lot higher.

Well the thing is, that B'mouth have money. So I can imagine them selling to, say, Stoke or even Leicester for £++ but I cannot imagine they'll let us buy him back for what we could afford. I wouldn't imagine we'll be spending as much as £500k on a player next year even if promoted. They'll want more.

I am assuming he would stay half a season to get fitness back thrn he would join cov who are 15 pts clear at top of championship!
