Is it actually tennents super or just the same strength?Bizarrely over in Italy most bars seem to have something like Special Brew or Tennents Super Strength on tap.
Agree, the likes of Belgian brewed Stella, Spanish brewed San Miguel etc. are like night and day compared to their UK brewed shite counterparts.Isn't it usually the case that most "premium" foreign beers you see in pubs are generally seen as piss in the country they're from?
I've seen Carling and Tennants on tap in a few European cities and it was branded as premium. Strongbow is also packaged in smaller glass bottles in some places and sold at a much higher cost than at home.
The one thing I hate about "imported beers" sold in the UK is that they're more often than not brewed in the UK and the recipe is fucked about with to make it cheaper and the alcohol content is also lowered so the taste is completely ruined.
I do enjoy a Desperado in this warm weather, probably had a few too many (2for£5) in Durham weatherspoons before Sunderland game, some lovely ales in there too.Red stripe and desperado today!
4 big cans for a fiver in the shop by me. Does have to be ice cold and warm though!I do enjoy a Desperado in this warm weather, probably had a few too many (2for£5) in Durham weatherspoons before Sunderland game, some lovely ales in there too.
Yeah but you drink them and then go onto something else.No desperados - lead to mega headache
I would need a couple of gallons !Yeah but you drink them and then go onto something else.
Then pint of water before bed

Been drinking good old BrewXI for a while now and it still knocks the socks off most lagers!
Then pint of water before bed
Yeah, I've heard Stella is a lovely pint if you get it in Belgium where they have the proper stuff.
I hate how the massive breweries over here buy the licence to brew these great beers and then ruin them.
I usually stick to Budvar as that's imported and is a great tasting beer.
Water is a life saver. The times I'm too steaming to remember to drink it before bed I wake up with a pounding headache the next day.
Never had Budvar but Czech Budweiser is nice

The selection of awful tattoos and gunts I have seen does not merit a smiley face

Am or Pm.....?!When it's hot here in Bell Green it turns into the Wild West, Friday night coppers chasing a gang of teenagers through the precinct, and a bloke waving a machete about. And it was only 7 o'clock.
All hours here. I heard the machete nutter got tasered took two blasts to put him down. Ive never seen a tasering my neighbour said it was entertaining !Am or Pm.....?!
Pilsner Urquelle is great tooYeah, I've heard Stella is a lovely pint if you get it in Belgium where they have the proper stuff.

There supposed to be knocking our block down. That was 18 months ago, but still here. Told we will all get compo and good moves etc. Was cov council but now Whitefriars absolutely useless. In this block weve had a murder, an attempted murder, a mad arsonist, and loads of shit from youths. Other than that !That's true....Was dating a lady about 20 yrs ago who lived a a stone throw away from the shops and there was always something going on....
Have to say I’ve been disappointed with the quality of women in Poland the few times I’ve been.Depends where you are. I was in Krakow last summer and I honestly don't think I saw an unpleasant looking woman. They all seemed in shape and had a class about them.
I suppose the English diet of McDonalds, WKD and Geordie Shore have has taken it's toll.

I expected it to be dripping in good looking women and it really isn’t. Bit of a fallacy if you ask me.
Well I've only been to Krakow but it was teeming with beauties. Can't speak for the rest of Poland.
I recall this picture before Houch. Nice to see it again though.Ahem! My missus is Polish/Lithuanian! Here she is with my step-daughter...……...

I'm quite proud of it BBR. It's on my wall at home.I recall this picture before Houch. Nice to see it again though.
Polish girls can be incredible in my experience. Visited twice. I'm actually going to Gdansk in June so will provide a further update then.
I think the gene pool is generally just a lot stronger in mainland Europe - certainly in an Easterly direction!
