Dabo great shoutMcFadz after Kelly, then perhaps Godden? Maybe even Dabo?
Hyam after Kelly
Hyam would be my shout for next captain. He’s Mr. Reliable in the middle, rarely ever below a 7 like Kelly so he can demand the same of others.Hyam after Kelly

I also prefer captain to be a CB or DCM. Wide players, flair players and strikers can be up and down and have a more specific role to fulfil whereas those in the middle are more team players and dictators.
what about marosi being vice captain, likely to play every league fixture
Reckon Ostigard may jump in that list tooSo from what we saw last season the order appears to be:
Kelly
Fadz
Godden
Shipley
Rose
Quite possibly!Reckon Ostigard may jump in that list too
You don't put loanees as captain, rule #84 in the book of managerial no-nos. Kelly if he plays, McFadz if Kelly doesn't. Scrambles and a pile-on if they are both out - need to find out who really wants it.Reckon Ostigard may jump in that list too
I suppose cause kelly may not play as many gamesWhy change a winning formula?
Doesn’t matter. The English game fixates on the issue of captaincy unlike any other nation. The Italians always give the captaincy to the most experienced player. It’s a mark of respect (and wage bonuses) very little else.
Wearing an armband doesn’t make you a leader. Not being captain doesn’t stop a leader from organising the marking at a corner or putting in an effective tackle.
No, that’s why you give the armband to the natural leader....Doesn’t matter. The English game fixates on the issue of captaincy unlike any other nation. The Italians always give the captaincy to the most experienced player. It’s a mark of respect (and wage bonuses) very little else.
