Get well soon Carlton.

Not everyone's cup of tea when he was a Sky Blue, but I quite liked him.

He had a heart attack while running in Sheffield on Sunday and *still* completed the half marathon in just over 2 hours.

All the best to him, was pretty good here and an unfairly maligned player in his career.

Very good player for us. He was a big step up from what we had.

TBF he was a late replacement for Boateng so not sure I agree completely but he definitely unlocked McAllister as a force for us

Always loved a Strachan quote about Palmer.
" He's got a great second touch"
Remember him in the last game we played in the Premier league. Corner with 5 min left the score at nil nil. He rose like the proverbial salmon, totally unmarked 6 yds out and absolutely thundered a header into....... The West Terrace.

Absolutely this FP.
McAllister would never have been possible to play like he did without Palmer.

They say he had his heart attack at the start of the race, but he finished the race, then ran back to the start where an ambulance was waiting to take him to hospital, and on the way he got the ambulance to stop off and pick up a Domino's meat feast deep pan pizza, and later discharged himself from hospital in time for last orders at his local.

Well hard!
