Went in for the first time yesterday to meet a friend who's a Yeovil fan.
Have to say, I was very impressed with it, and wished I'd been there more
I couldn't believe how good everything looked in there, and the drinks were reasonable as well. Looking forward to going again, maybe a flutter before hand
I rarely seem under-dressed at a football match, but when I went into the complex bit of the stadium with all the suited-and-booted types I felt a bit riff-raff in my Yeovil shirt and scarf!
I've been to Vegas and it's the only UK casino that reminds me of being there, albeit on a smaller scale. It's very attractive especially the wet stairway entrance.
Its a great feature of our ground to have a reasonably priced place to drink and catch some of the pre and post match Premier League games.
I am not sure the away fans who come realize its there tbh.
With the train station to be in action for the first game of next season - we need to quickly realize our future should be at the Ricoh Arena and not outside the city boundaries in a 12k all seater soulless stadium.
I think the Casino is a tremendous match-day asset; and it pulls pints of John Smiths to equal most.
Had the (mis)fortune to sit in the corp seats for Yeovil; £4 for 3/4 pint of Tetleys from a can, experienced in a drab, scruffy and rather soulless lounge.
I'm in the casino most pre games but there is no atmosphere, constant queuing for a pint even on normal attendance days, and the beer is shite and over priced. No where near as good as a nearby home pub. Might go back to the Sheaf or RAOB
