Someone needs to pick up the phone and talk and not to a journalist
I thought this part of the Wasps statement was quite telling:Pretty much this, in the end the contract will contain clauses about the standard of the playing surface and clearly wasps as owners of said pitch have not stuck to these. The fact the pitch was unfit to play is proof enough of that.
I thought this part of the Wasps statement was quite telling:
'Tomorrow’s Carabao Cup game was moved from the Arena without a further pitch inspection, which is the prerogative of the football club, but I hope they and the officials feel they are able to play next week’s home game here at the Arena.
Already sounded to me like a dispute of any penalty that a pitch postponement clause might contain. 'We're not paying you for the Bristol game because you chose to move the game without getting it officially called off'
Interesting. Know how much or why its not public knowledge?
You don't get many independent agronomists in football...
So sick of this shit.
This season has got relegation written all over it.
Fucking hell, we've played one game....
I think people are pissed off at the never-ending sagas surrounding the club and our owners. Some people have been desperate to be depressed since last season ended.
Handy chance to drain some resource with a legal battle regardless, mind you...Already sounded to me like a dispute of any penalty that a pitch postponement clause might contain. 'We're not paying you for the Bristol game because you chose to move the game without getting it officially called off
Club would argue that if they had waited for a pitch inspection, it would have then been too late for them to make alternative arrangements if it was unplayable and thus opening them up to further efl sanctionsI thought this part of the Wasps statement was quite telling:

Precisely. Just when we think we are going back to normal, we are let down by sisu. The love in for boddy is sickening
Does depend how much the negativity permeates the squad though. Robins has done a fine job so far in not letting that happen, and let's hope that continues, but it must be pretty wearing having crisis after crisis not of his making rumbling in the background. The negativity around the off the pitch stuff is fine and warranted. To suggest we're looking a relegation battle after one fucking game is ludicrous.
Well what good has happened since then? Lost O’hare to injury, unable to play at home, signed a player deemed not good enough for a lesser team than us, missing out on our preferred centre halves?
Now just to work out which ones Grendel…
Apology accepted pal

Rugby Union fans tend to be intelligent, middle class folk…………but there’s no such thing as middle class in Coventry.I know football fans can be very strange at times (see our Facebook group, the Sunderland Forum for notable examples), but Rugby folk, specifically the sort that only follow Rugby are weird as fuck, and Wasps fans from Coventry take it to a whole new level. The responses to the statement are delusional.

@Skyblueweeman always comes in aggressive, sarcastic and talks like he’s better than you so I gave him the same back. I don’t understand why people can’t just have a reasoned friendly discussion
The point is though that it does wear people down. Hasn't been an issue so far, but we've succeeded despite of those issues, and that's every credit to Robins. At some point though it gets too much if it keeps going, whether that's in a week, a month, a decade... it's far easier to work for a nice calm well run organisation than a chaotic mess where the focus often drags away from the core business. It's not really been an issue so far has it?

It's a concern.
Probably not wrong in that! Even around here though, most seem to remember they're football clubs first, at least.Definitely agree. Although if Robins is looking to work at a nice, calm, well run organisation then the Championship is probably the wrong division for him.
Took a quick look on their forum, I know we have some odd people on here and some posts leave you scratching your head wondering what you've just read but they are on another level.
They've unquestioningly accepted Vaughns statement and as far as they're concerned that's now the end of it, Wasps blameless and the postponed matches are all the fault of SISU.
We have one from this site I suspect who’s a little turncoat when he starts tapping away on the wasps site….Took a quick look on their forum, I know we have some odd people on here and some posts leave you scratching your head wondering what you've just read but they are on another level.

Looking much better!!!
How would you know what anybody "always" does if you have just signed up?
